Paul Simon is coming out of touring retirement for a series of ‘farewell’ shows, due to kick off in April 2025.

Tickets are selling fast, as the American singer-songwriter, 83, famously took a hiatus from live performances back in 2018, after suffering from significant hearing loss.

Since regaining some of his hearing, the singer is working alongside the Stanford Initiative to Cure Hearing Loss for the upcoming US tour and has handpicked small venues 'where acoustics are optional'.

Fans are looking forward to the comeback shows and have taken to Reddit to share their excitement.

One wrote, "Amazing opportunity to see one of the great songwriters of the 20th Century, possibly for the last time."

Another said: "Seeing Paul Simon is on my sister’s bucket list, so we are definitely going! How exciting."

Simon is a legendary folk rock singer-songwriter, most famously known for his collaboration with Art Garfunkel. The duo rose to fame in the mid-sixties under the name, Simon and Garfunkel, and were known for smash hits including The Sound of Silence and Mrs Robinson.

Simon went on to have a successful solo career too, with You Can Call Me Al swiftly becoming one of his bestselling singles.

As the singer prepares to go on his final tour, find out everything you need to know below, from tour dates to where to buy resale tickets.
