Madonna 'publicly names and shames' the music producer she dated and used witchcraft on in the 90s

Madonna called out a music producer who turned out to be her former lover

Madonna has spilled the tea on a previous relationship as she 'publicly named and shamed' her former lover.

The 65-year-old is currently embarking on her worldwide Celebration tour, with her latest stop coming in Atlanta.

And the tour has been a pretty eventful one too, with the singer calling out a fan in a wheelchair for not standing up being a particular talking point.

With her latest tour date, Madonna had some fun with the audience as she confessed to being in love with a music producer during the recording of her 1994 album, Bedtime Stories.

The music icon said: "I was madly in love with him and he treated me like s**t.

"I'm just saying, you did, you dogged me, bro. It's ok, I understand. You were just a boy. But I hope you've grown up by now."

Madonna did all this without revealing the culprit, but then she declared: "I am publicly shaming you. Did I say your name yet? His name is Dallas Austin."

Madonna was 35-years-old at the time of the album, while Austin was the tender age of 23.

The pair's collaboration on the album saw the likes of 'Secret', 'Don't Stop', 'Survival' and 'Sanctuary' see the light of day.

Madonna went on to say that the love she had for the producer ran so deep that she employed unconventional methods to win his heart.

"I am telling you, I was so in love with him that I had this house in Miami and I studied with this Santeria," she shared with fans.

"And not one of them worked. Oh well, your loss."

Despite all of that, Madonna said her time working on the album was magcial.

"I got to work with some incredible musicians. I miss working that way, writing songs with musicians and everyday coming up with something new," she admitted.

UNILAD has reached out to Dallas Austin's reps for comment.

Madonna's comments come just a year on from a major health scare.

Last June, it was widely reported that the 'Like a Virgin' singer had been taken to hospital with a serious bacterial infection and had ended up in intensive care.

A statement from her talent manager, Guy Oseary, at the time said: "On Saturday June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which lead to a several day stay in the ICU.

"Her health is improving, however she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected. At this time we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour.

"We will share more details with you soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and for rescheduled shows."

Thankfully, Madonna has since made a full recovery.
