Justin Bieber has allegedly settled a $31,500,000 debt with his former manager, Scooter Braun, following the release of his new album.
Bieber recently surprised his fans with the announcement of his new record, titled Swag, which is made up of 21 brand new songs.
The pop star shared a series of Instagram posts to promote the news, with clips featuring billboards of the album cover and its tracklist.
Amid all of that, Bieber has reached a settlement with his former manager Braun, with the 'Sorry' singer agreeing to pay $26 million as part of an advance for his Justice Tour, on top of $5.5 million in unpaid commissions.

It was his former manager's company, HYBE, that initially covered the cost for Bieber when the tour was canceled.
The 'Baby' singer agreed to pay Braun and HYBE back in time, but Bieber only ever made a single payment, according to People Magazine.

UNILAD has reached out to Bieber's representatives for comment.

And Bieber seemingly has no regrets parting with his manager despite the massive financial hit he has taken.
A source close to the music star told Rolling Stone: "Breaking away from Scooter Braun and his team has been something that Justin has wanted for so long, and now that he’s fully free, he could finally share this album with his fans and with the world.
"Having full creative freedom, sadly, is something new for him as an artist. Not having to stress about creating the perfect single, or perfect album, allowed for him to create the best body of music he’s ever made."

The source continued: "He was able to be his true, authentic self and didn’t have any additional voices trying to steer him in a certain direction. This is the most pure version of Justin we’ve ever seen musically.
"This is the first time in Justin’s career where he’s been able to have 100% creative freedom, which is why the music is so honest and vulnerable."
While Bieber and Braun may no longer be working together, the singer's former manager heaped praise on him following the release of his new album.
"Been having a beautiful start to the weekend and been getting a lot of texts about how I feel about Justin’s new album… so I will just leave this here," he penned on Instagram.

"This is, without a doubt, the most authentically Justin Bieber album to date. It’s beautiful, raw, and truly him. And that matter."
