Harry Styles fans were treated to a belated Christmas gift on Saturday, as the award winning sinner broke his two year silence with a fresh music video entitled ‘Forever, Forever’.
The Grammy Award-winning singer, 31, has veered away from the musical spotlight since ending his ‘Love on Tour’ in 2023, instead choosing to focus on his upcoming home renovation in London and his acting work. During this extended time away from the public eye, Styles has held off on releasing any new music or videos, prompting many fans to wonder if and when he would ever return to the spotlight.
Yet it appears they now have their answer, with the former One Direction singer having released a new music video just two days after Christmas on his YouTube channel. The 8:31 clip features Styles seated at a piano, performing for thousands of fans during the last stop on his Love On Tour, which took place in Reggio Emilia, Italy.

The upload marked the first time he had posted in two years – and needless to say, fans were delighted.
“He got bored of running marathons and remembered he has a job,” one person cheekily commented on the video in a nod to his recent charity efforts, while another joked, “Brother finally remembered his channel’s password.”
A third fan echoed a similar sentiment and expressed hope for a deeper meaning, as they added: “I choose to read this as Harry telling us ‘don’t worry, I’m coming back soon.’ Homies, let’s be ready for 2026.”
Not everyone was quite so impressed however, with some fans even expressing scepticism about the new video and suggesting it may not be hinting at any larger comeback after all.
“I feel like he just found this in his drafts somewhere and decided that this was exactly the right time to mess with us,” they wrote.
“So he’s either giving us new music or announcing retirement,” suggested one fan.
With another agreeing, as they added: “He’s about to make or completely ruin 2026.”

Styles stepped back from performing in July 2023, shortly after the conclusion of his sell out world tour.
At the time, he hinted it would only be a temporary break as he told his fans he'd return ‘when the time is right,’ indicating a planned pause, not an end, after his tour.
During his hiatus, Styles has focused on numerous other ventures including resting, living his life privately, working on his brand (Pleasing), and recharging his creative battery to avoid artist burnout.
He has also had to come to terms with a hefty dose of grief following the death of his One Direction bandmate Liam Payne, who died on October 16, 2024 after falling from a hotel balcony in Argentina.
