Cat Stevens has announced his first tour in nine years and fans are scrambling to buy tickets after general sale officially kicked off on Friday morning.

In case you missed it, the singer-songwriter (also known as Yusuf) is hitting the road this fall to celebrate his upcoming memoir Cat on the Road to Findout, with stops in Boston, New York, Chicago, and San Francisco.

The tour 'promises to be an evening of tales, tunes, and other mysteries', as the 60s legend will discuss his life and memoir each night, alongside unplugged performances of his biggest hits.

On the upcoming tour, the 76-year-old said: “Having passed through the exhaustingly complex maze of everyday material life, ascending the dizzying heights of wealth, recognition and artistic achievements, I think I’ve got a few things to share.

"Keeping an open mind was part of the nature I instinctively maintained as a creative songwriter. Nothing was off bounds. Music was a way of discovering my purpose within the universe."

British fans will be pleased to know the singer will then head to the UK for shows in the likes of Cambridge, Bristol, London, and Manchester.

The tour will follow his highly-anticipated performance on July 11 alongside Neil Young and The Chrome Hearts at BST Hyde Park (you can buy tickets here).

So, where can you buy tickets for Yusuf's tour, and how much do they cost? Find out everything you need to know about below.
