The Sopranos Stars Return For Nostalgic Super Bowl Ad

Woke up this morning, got yourself a Super Bowl ad: The Sopranos are back for a new commercial.

Between 1999-2007, James Gandolfini earned universal acclaim for his portrayal of a mob boss suffering panic attacks, dealing with power struggles in New Jersey and, by the end, never stopping believing.

In 2021, The Many Saints of Newark saw David Chase and Alan Taylor return to the world of their beloved HBO show, with Michael Gandolfini, the son of the late legend, taking on the mantle of TV’s greatest role.

Chevrolet's Big Game spot for this year's Super Bowl sees Jamie-Lynn Sigler return to the role of Meadow Soprano, riding the first-ever all-electric Chevy Silverado.

Mirroring the show's iconic opening, Meadow drives the car through New Jersey to the tune of Howlin' Wolf's Woke Up This Morning, with one shot even resembling the exact moment where Tony gets out the car before the title card. At the end of the ad, she even reunites with Robert Iler's A.J.

'With available Four-Wheel Steer, an available Multi-Flex Midgate and a GM-estimated 400 miles of range on a full charge of the Ultium battery, Silverado EV is a whole new truck for a whole new generation,' Chevrolet wrote.

The ad has received rave reactions from Sopranos fans. 'I jumped out of my seat for this and I never do that for commercials. This was really well done. Great concept and was cool to see the kids in this. Best commercial so far!' one wrote. 'This commercial makes my day better seeing the family grown up and the original places still as good as years ago,' another wrote.

'She learned how to park, finally,' a third wrote, referencing the excruciating closing minutes of the show's finale.
