The stars of a creepy new movie that's left even horror fans 'too scared' to watch it have revealed the most difficult scene to film.
Now, in case you weren't aware, Smile dropped in cinemas this week and if you're into the horror genre, then you're going to want to give it a watch.
But be warned – it's not for the faint-hearted.
The trailer alone had people 'throwing their phones' in terror, and it's not hard to see why – alongside plenty of curveball jump scares and traumatic themes, a shape-shifting supernatural force causes people to break into the most grotesque grins. Check out the trailer here if you dare:

In short, it's pure nightmare fuel. And beyond the scarier moments, the film cleverly weaves into it themes on mental health and trauma as our leading character, a psychiatrist named Dr Rose Cotter (Sosie Bacon), is plagued by said smiles at every corner she turns.
Much like those who were cursed before her, Rose struggles to convince those around her including her partner Trevor (Jessie T. Usher) that she's not just losing her mind.
It truly is an atmospheric masterpiece and one that is worth a watch in the cinema – and UNILAD were lucky enough to catch up with the cast ahead of its release last week.
When discussing the toughest part of making Smile, there was one scene in particular that caused issues – and funnily enough it had nothing to do with the spookier aspects of the film.
As said by Jessie of The Boys fame: "My most difficult scene was the scene where we [he and Rose] walk in the house and the cat runs by," before laughing as Sosie dropped her head in her hand.
"That was probably the most technically difficult scene," she added before Jessie explained, "That's because it was just funny. The cat would not follow instructions."
It's no surprise it was so difficult – out of all the animals you can have on TV and film sets, apparently cats are the hardest to work with.
Although co-star Kyle Gallner did point out that it was the 'cutest cat' they'd ever seen.
Elaborating on the mishap, Sosie said: "And the trainer's trying to [instruct the cat], it's so intense and their cat's always not behaving properly.
"You can tell they're upset and insecure about it and it's like 'it's a f**king cat'."
Jessie then explained: "Sosie was trying to be so in the moment and she was feeling bad. In the scene, she's trying to stay in character and the whole time the trainers with the cats are standing right off camera going 'tss tss tss'."
Although they were understandably apprehensive about getting through the hilarious shoot, thankfully they were able to pull it off and you can't tell in the slightest that they were having to deal with concerned cat trainers throughout.
In fact, every member of the cast gives a stellar performance, just one of the many reasons Smile is being touted as one of the best horror movies of 2022.
