Quentin Tarantino has revealed his next project will be an eight-part limited series that will commence production next year.
While appearing at a New York event to promote his book Cinema Speculation, the legendary director shared he would be making the leap to the small screen in 2023, as per Variety.
While Tarantino remained tip lipped about the upcoming series, he assured the audience it would not be included as his 10th and final film.
However, this isn’t the first time the Pulp Fiction director has worked in TV.

In 2005, Tarantino directed the two-part season five finale for CBS’ CSI: Crime Scene Investigation titled ‘Grave Danger’.
The episode even scored the 59-year-old an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series.
No doubt, whatever he produces on the silver screen, will be nothing short of spectacular.
The director has previously teased that he will be venturing into TV, books and theater - even floating the idea of turning Once Upon a Time in Hollywood into a stage show - as he approaches the last film of his career.
While the news is devastating to die-hard fans, Tarantino said in a 2021 interview with Bill Maher that he must retire as ‘from here on, filmmakers do not get better’.
He added: “I don’t have a reason that I would want to say out loud, that’s going to win any argument in a court of public opinion or supreme court or anything like that.
“At the same time, working for 30 years doing as many movies as I’ve done, it’s not as many as other people, but that’s a long career. That’s a really long career.”
However, many have speculated for years about what his last movie will be.
In the same interview, Tarantino admitted he’d even considered making a sequel to Reservoir Dogs.
However, he was quick to shut down rumors.
Perhaps, Tarantino’s last work on the big screen will be Kill Bill Vol. 3?
The director told Entertainment Weekly in 2004 that he had an idea for a threequel already planned out.
He teased: “Uma won’t be the star, though she’ll be in it. The star will be Vernita Green’s [Vivica A. Fox’s] daughter, Nikki [Ambrosia Kelley]. I’ve already got the whole mythology: Sofie Fatale [Julie Dreyfus] will get all of Bill’s money.
“She’ll raise Nikki, who’ll take on the Bride. Nikki deserves her revenge every bit as much as the Bride deserved hers.”
Offfft. This sounds epic.
