Quentin Tarantino gives disappointing update on his final movie

Legendary director Quentin Tarantino's 10th film is shrouded in mystery.

Legendary director Quentin Tarantino's 10th film is shrouded in mystery.

Look, we love the cinema but it seems like there are a few reasons to go these days.

For starters, the seat price is extortionate (the snacks are too), and Netflix has already put every decent film at your fingertips.

However, the one cinematic event that would get us out of our house and into those uncomfortable seats is Tarantino's 10th film.

For those not clued in, Tarantino has said that his 10th film will be his final film and, given that he's made nine already, it seems like his last film will soon be underway.

However, little is known about the film, other than the fact that it'll be an original script.

So naturally, people are jumping for information on the director's latest project.

And he did recently give an update, albeit a really disappointing one.

Speaking about his highly anticipated 10th and final movie, Tarantino told the 2 Bears, 1 Cave podcast: "No, I haven't even thought about it yet."

And, well, that's a fairly underwhelming answer to say the least, though if we were making our final film we'd probably spend a while mulling over the decision.

While little else is known about the iconic director's 10th film, he has hinted in the past at making Kill Bill 3.

Tarantino gave fans a shred of hope when he discussed potential plots on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, including the possibility of Thurman's daughter, Maya Hawke, playing The Bride's daughter, B.B.

Tarantino said, 'I think it’s just revisiting the characters 20 years later and just imagining The Bride and her daughter, B.B, having 20 years of peace, and then that peace is shattered.'

The director added: "And now the Bride and B.B. are on the run and just the idea of being able to cast Uma and cast her daughter Maya in the thing would be f*cking exciting."

Maya has already appeared in Tarantino's Once Upon a Time... In Hollywood, in which she played one of the Manson family members who was having second thoughts.

However, if Tarantino is serious about his 10th film being his last, would a third Kill Bill be it?

In the past, the director has counted the first and second films of Kill Bill as one movie, as Esquire reports.

So, maybe the third Kill Bill wouldn't be counted in his total either...

Here's hoping, because that would mean there are two more Tarantino films on the way.
