In case you were wondering, in the US, Pedro Pascal was the most-Googled actor and '6,7' was the most sought-after meme.
Meanwhile, Charlie Kirk, KPop Demon Hunters, Labubu, iPhone 17 and Donald Trump's One Big Beautiful Act Bill were the most popular search terms - in that order.

The animated movie dethroned Gal Gadot's comedy Red Notice when it clocked up more than 541 million hours watched within three months of its June release.
The story follows K-pop girl group HUNTR/X, who secretly fight demons while balancing idol fame, with their rivals, the demon boyband Saja Boys.
Arden Cho, May Hong and Ji-young Yoo voice the three main characters, Rumi, Mira and Zoey.

Michael B. Jordan's breakout thriller is the second-most talked about movie of 2025.
The period drama, set in 1930s Mississippi, follows twin brothers Smoke and Stack who, upon returning to their hometown, learn they must confront a supernatural evil.
Directed by Black Panther's Ryan Coogler, the movie earned $48 million in its opening weekend, significantly beating expectations and topping charts that week.
Hailee Steinfeld, Miles Caton, Jack O'Connell, and Wunmi Mosaku also star in the movie.

Released in April 2025, A Minecraft Movie became a box-office hit, earning close to $1 billion worldwide despite mixed reviews.
It follows a group of real-world teenagers who are pulled into the Minecraft Overworld and must work with Steve (Jack Black) to stop a catastrophic threat.
The cast includes Hollywood stars Jason Momoa, Danielle Brooks, Emma Myers, and Jennifer Coolidge.

The sequel to Adam Sandler's 1996 Happy Gilmore turned out to be a real big swinger.
One of Netflix’s most-streamed comedy films of the year, it sees Sandler reprise the role of Happy as he returns to competitive golf, facing new rivals while trying to mentor a hot-headed young player.
Multiple cast members returned for the fan-favorite sequel, including Julie Bowen, Ben Stiller and Benny Safdie.

Sneaking into the top five is Marvel’s Thunderbolts*, one of the MCU’s darker team-up films.
The story brings together anti-heroes and reformed villains on a government mission, including characters like Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Red Guardian, Ghost, Taskmaster and US Agent.
Its star-studded cast includes Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Wyatt Russell, Hannah John-Kamen, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
