Shocking footage of 1000-Lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton’s skin surgery after she revealed exact weight loss
The reality star has undergone an incredible transformation
Tammy Slaton is arguably one of the most recognizable faces of reality TV - though maybe not anymore, after shedding hundreds of pounds in an incredible transformation.
Since 2020, Tammy and her sister Amy have documented their weight loss journey in the TLC reality TV show 1000-Lb Sisters.
The duo initially starting off with a combined weight of over 1000 lbs, with Tammy weighing 725 pounds at her heaviest and requiring the assistance of an oxygen tube to breathe.
Now, the 38-year-old has gone under the knife after dropping 500 pounds in the last four or so years.

TLC has shared a shocking new clip of the skin-removal surgery Tammy underwent, removing an extra 15 pounds and refining her features.
The 30-minute long clip sees her emotional family prepare for her surgery.
Once under sedation, her surgeon explains that the team were cutting excess skin from her her face and neck, both her arms and her stomach area.
What they weren't removing, was fat. Her excess skin removed could've covered ab area of three square feet, her surgeon claimed.
Footage shows to the intricate surgery in action - and it's fascinating to see how it's all done.
The surgery was a success, and Tammy got to take a look at her new body for the first time as she came round.
Peeking under the bandages, she got a glimpse of her new mid-section and her never-seen-before neckline.

After looking at her stomach area, and further down... Tammy quipped: "My coochie's in the right place now!
"It's going to take me a while to get used to seeing myself like this," she admitted after recovery.
Her weight loss journey hasn’t been an easy one. Tammy battled food addiction, made multiple trips to rehab and faced personal tragedy with the loss of her husband, Caleb Willingham, in 2023 at age 40.
However, Tammy lost enough weight to qualify for bariatric surgery and had the procedure done in July 2022.
Speaking with the Ezell Film Company, Tammy shared she’s lost around 540 pounds from her heaviest, saying she’s shed 'three whole versions' of herself.
“I see pictures of me now and I think, ‘wow,’” she said.
And following her skin removal surgery, Tammy told People she’s feeling better than ever. Though, she was nervous ahead of the big day.
"The night before my surgery, I was, like, seriously freaking terrified," she told the publication.
"I was even more nervous about having skin removal surgery than I was for the [sleeve gastrectomy] surgery because they’re actually cutting the whole belly!”
