1000-Lb. Sisters star Tammy Slaton cries as she opens up about husband's death

1000-lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton has taken to social media to open up to fans about how she's coping since the death of her husband.

1000-lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton has taken to social media to open up to fans about how she's coping since the death of her husband.

Slaton starred in the TLC reality series alongside her sibling, Amy Slaton-Halterman - the programme tracking the pair's journey with their health.

Season four saw Slaton meet Caleb Willingham and get married at a rehabilitation facility in November, 2022. Slaton said on the programme that when she saw Willingham at the altar she 'pictured doves and butterflies' and felt like 'God had opened up the clouds and let the sunlight in'.

Sadly, Willingham recently passed away at the age of 40 and Slaton has taken to TikTok to address the loss.

In a video uploaded to TikTok yesterday (Sunday, 2 July), Slaton explains she's going through 'stages of grief'.

She continues: "Yeah we were having problems, but I loved that man. I still do.

"I miss him like crazy but I wanted to thank everybody for... I'm sorry. Thank everybody for their comments, I appreciate it, I really do."

Slaton noted she's not going to go into 'details of what happened' because of it being 'really personal',

But she explained she'd wanted to respond to a comment sent to her by a user named Sandra because it 'touched [her] heart'.

"I'm aware he's looking down on me. He's not in any pain anymore. I know he's in a better place," she concludes. "Again, thank you all and I love you all from the bottom of my heart. And believe it or not, he really loved you all too."

The pair were having 'problems' but Slaton still loved him.
