The Golden Globes could get awkward tonight as Leonardo DiCaprio and Miley Cyrus have reportedly been seated together, even though they're in a 'feud'.
If you're hosting some sort of event, from a dinner party to a wedding, then seating can be a big part of making sure that the event goes smoothly.
A wedding especially can involve putting people who may not always see eye to eye in the same room, which could have disastrous consequences if they end up getting into an argument after making overly liberal use of the open bar.
So it's perhaps a little surprising that organizers at the Golden Globes, which will air this evening (January 11), have elected to put the two stars together for the ceremony, with DiCaprio - who is nominated for the 'best male actor in a film musical or comedy' award for his role in One Battle After Another - sitting close to music nominee Cyrus, according to the official seating chart seen by Cosmopolitan.

But what exactly is this 'feud' that the pair have become embroiled in?

Well, it all comes down to vaping, or to be more specific, not sharing a vape.
Yep, Cyrus has previously called out DiCaprio for not sharing a vape he had with her at a party.

She recounted the moment in an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon back in 2015, where they had both attended a 40th anniversary of Saturday Night Live.
"I was like 20 feet, 15 feet from Leonardo DiCaprio sitting there with his mom," she said.
Cyrus recalled that DiCaprio had been 'hitting a vape pen', but wouldn't her have a hit from it.
She told Fallon: "There's an etiquette of: 'You need to pass that sh*t, Leo'. He never did, so that was weird to me."

Fallon went on to ask her whether DiCaprio had been 'bogarting the vape', with Cyrus replying: "He wasn't passing the vape."

So there you have it - DiCaprio allegedly got stingy with his vape with Miley Cyrus.
But tonight should be fine, so long as there's no vaping allowed during the ceremony.

It's not the only time that vaping may have led to something awkward at the Golden Globes either, as back in 2014 the awards ceremony was criticized for 'glamourizing' vaping.
One sketch saw Tina Fey and Amy Poehler taking the micky out of Julia Louis Dreyfus, who was then shown looking glamorous with an e-cigarette in hand.
Sen. Richard Durbin even accused the ceremony of 'killing the next generation of fans in your movies' because of how vaping was shown at the ceremony.
Evidence currently shows that vaping is not as harmful as smoking tobacco, but it is not risk-free, and the long-term health impacts are not understood.
