Jeopardy viewers say show is ‘taking a NSFW turn’ after contestant makes X-rated gesture

Viewers say the gesture is 'what she'll be remembered for'

Jeopardy! is supposed to be a family show - but it recently looked like it took a bit of an X-rated return.

On Monday's episode of the show (February 5), contestants Kate Campolieta, Mira Hayward and Jesse Chin went head-to-head against one another.

The Final Jeopardy saw the trio asked a question about World Flags (a pretty tough category, unless you're Sheldon Cooper).

The clue was: "The flag of this Asian nation features part of a World Heritage Site built in the 12th century."

All three contestants opted to wager $0 in what's believed to be a show-first.

To represent that she opted for $0, Mira - a podcast host from Portland, Oregon - made an 'O' shape with both her hands and shook them either side of her.

While it was very likely to be innocent, some dirty-minded viewers thought she might have been referring to something a little ruder.

Sharing a clip of the moment online, one X user quipped: "OnlyFans, Jeopardy style."

Mira Hayward bagged herself a spot in the semi-final.

"They forgot the Brazzers logo," said another, referring to a porn channel.

A third wrote: "She’s promoting her OF."

Others admitted that they didn't get the joke until they read people's comments.

"I'll be honest. I had to go to the comments to understand what the dealio was ... on me," someone said. "My innocence is ruined for the minute."

Also discussing innocence, a different person said that Mira's must be protected 'at all costs'.

While she went home with an impressive $16,400 and bagged herself a spot in the semi-final, some Jeopardy! viewers said she'll now be remembered for her NSFW moment rather than her win.

"Epic. That’s what she’ll be remembered for," chuckled someone on X.

A second added: "Nope. Won’t live that down soon."

"Oh this poor poor girl. This will be shown to her for the rest of her life," another weighed in.

Contestants have to apply to go on the show and, while there's a celebrity version of it, Emma Stone is adamant that she wants to feature on the original.

Speaking on Variety's Awards Circuit podcast, the Poor Things actress said of going on the game show: "That’s my dream... I apply every June."

Stone went on: "I don’t want to go on Celebrity Jeopardy!. I really want to earn my stripes. I would like to go on real Jeopardy!"

I wonder if she'd make a $0 wager too?
