Harrison Ford had completely honest message for Jason Segel after watching his full frontal nude scene

Jason Segal was pretty chuffed with Ford's comment

Harrison Ford had one thing to say to Shrinking co-star Jason Segel after watching his film Forgetting Sarah Marshall, which involved some NSFW content.

Anyone who knows Ford knows that while he is extremely brutal at times, the Indiana Jones actor is also very honest when discussing a variety of different matters - from his career to Donald Trump praising him for his role in Air Force One, to which he said it was 'a movie'.

And Ford had no problem giving Segel his incredibly honest answer after viewing 2008's Forgetting Sarah Marshall, which sees the How I Met Your Mother actor go full frontal.

In the film, Segel stars as a movie composer who is left devastated when his actor girlfriend, Sarah Marshall (Kristen Bell), dumps him, and he travels to Hawaii to get over their relationship.

Speaking with Variety alongside his friend Seth Rogen, Segel said that they reached out to Ford to see if he was interested in taking on the role of Dr. Paul Rhoades in his TV show, Shrinking.

"We got Harrison Ford because Harrison Ford is the kind of person you make an offer to so that for three days you can say, 'We've made an offer to Harrison Ford,' and then you'll pick the real guy."

He went on to say Ford' didn't know anything about' Segel at the time, but that quickly changed after he read the script of Shrinking.

Ford was sent some of Segel's previous work, including Forgetting Sarah Marshall. And those who've seen the film will remember a scene where Segel's character stands fully naked in the middle of the room during their breakup.

And after watching it, Ford, of course, had something to say and sent a message to Shrinking's producer, Bill Lawrence.

"Then, apparently, Bill Lawrence got a text that said, 'I'm in. And tell the kid, great d**k,'" Segel recalled to Variety.

Rogen then responded: "Even if he was out, that would be great. I would take that."

Recalling the filming of that scene with Vulture in 2015, Segel said: "I thought that was hilarious. I was actually not very uncomfortable doing it. I really felt free.

"You have to put it in the context that this was 2006, 2007, and this hadn't been done before, in my recollection, where the main guy was going to be naked in the first five minutes of the movie."

Funnily enough, Segel was involved in a similar bizarre breakup in real life.

"She arrived at the house and I had decided that the way to really kick off this sex was that I was waiting on the couch totally naked, like posed," the actor previously said on Conan O'Brien's Needs A Friend podcast.

"So she walked in and there I am lying, and I said, 'I've got a surprise for you,' and then she said, 'We need to talk'."

I mean, that's some way to call it quits.
