Netflix has divided and frustrated fans after bringing back a loved show but with a slight catch.

Netflix has built up a reputation of cancelling beloved shows after just one season, so it can always be quite a relief when news breaks a hit show is returning.

So much so that fans have taken to social media predicting that after they have loved a show that the streaming giant will go out of its way to bin the show.

However, after a historic debut, this show went on to win scores of fans across the world and was appreciated by both fans and critics alike.

The show boasts an impressive 8.0 out of 10 on IMDB and maintains an 83 percent popcorn meter score on Rotten Tomatoes. Critics liked it as a whole as well as the show scored 77 percent on the Tomatometer.

The TV show ended up being the streamers most-watched English-language series at the time and helped propel Jenna Ortega to new levels of stardom.

If you haven’t guest by now the show in question is Wednesday, a sort of spin off reimagining of the original The Addams Family, focusing on the morose Wednesday Addams.

Debuting back in 2022, the show was a massive hit and fans were delighted when in early 2023 Netflix announced the show would be back in 2025.

Season 2 debuted in Aug 6 but there is a slight catch, it has been split into a part 1 and part 2 with the second part set to release in September 3 later this year.

And this hasn’t gone down well with a whole lot fans.

In the Facebook group, Netflix Bangers, where everything film and TV on the platform is discussed, many people aired out their frustrations.

While some people questioned whether the show is up to Season 1’s quality, many took particular issue with it splitting up the episodes as they hoped to binge the show.

One member wrote: “Why is it split in 2 parts. I hate that.”

Another wrote: “Not as great as the first season so far but it might pick up the last few episodes. Thinking it just took too long to return. Netflix does that though.”

With a third writing: “I’m hoping the second half will be better-I agree WTH!”

Another added: “Just finished it and I’m so pissed they broke it up into two parts smfh.”

With another agreeing and writing: “IM MORE MAD i have to wait until september like i wanna get it done and over with, I have short term memory loss by then smh.”
