Netflix subscribers are raving over a 'genius' miniseries they're comparing to The Office.

The streaming platform is jam-packed with recommendations, from true crime TV series to heartfelt movies.

Sometimes, so much choice can make it difficult to choose your next binge-watch.

And even if you use these little-known Netflix codes to unlock content you never knew existed, it can still be a tough decision.

Well, subscribers are recommending an eight-episode Netflix series that fans of The Office are bound to love.

The mockumentary-style comedy series takes a playful swipe at Poland's 17th-century noblemen.

It follows the eccentric Jan Paweł Adamczewski, played by Bartłomiej Topa, as he attempts to secure his place in history - with chaotic, over-the-top antics.

The self-appointed lord of a tiny village, he navigates absurd family feuds as well as clashes with both peasants and rivals.

Each episode cleverly combines period-drama tropes, Polish commonwealth history and faux-documentary interviews, making for an entertaining watch.

The show debuted in December 2023 and is made up of eight episodes.

Better yet, the show has been renewed for a second season, landing in late 2025, as well as a third. What more could you want in your next binge-watch?

Elsewhere on the site, others were quick to recommend the show.

"We called it The Office meets Norsemen, but with Poles instead of Vikings," one fan wrote. "I know they're making tons of inside jokes that are going completely over my head...But it's still silly fun."

"Office x Norsemen is very accurate!" somebody else agreed, adding: "Normally comedy in a foreign language doesn’t stick with me, but this one is good."

They added: "If you’re a history nerd/enjoyer, love shows like Arrested Development, The Office, and What We Do in the Shadows, I think you’ll love this."

Over on Rotten Tomatoes, the series has racked up a stunning 95 percent score from viewers.

"Watched it three times and it's just brilliant," one fan wrote, as a second said: "I stumbled upon this series. I had never heard of it before but what an unexpected gem. Insightful, hilarious and witty."
