A series that fans have long been begging for more of has had a promising update.
There's nothing worse than when one of your favorite shows is canceled, a feeling that Marco Polo fans know all too well.
The well-loved TV show has been binged for a staggering 126,500,000 hours and boasts an impressive 93 percent Rotten Tomatoes score, yet Netflix still proceeded to cancel the series after just two seasons.

Expressing their disappointment at it being canceled, one fan said of Marco Polo: "This was brilliant. Every bit as good as GOT, Vikings and The Last Kingdom. Well acted and visually stunning. It should never have been canceled."
Another added: "The fact that this series got canceled is a travesty. It had so much promise."
People have felt a similar way about Mindhunter which, like Marco Polo, had just two seasons and has an impressive Rotten Tomatoes score.
With a 97 percent critic score and 95 percent audience on the reviewing platform, Mindhunter has previously been hailed as the 'best thing Netflix has produced'.

The last season of the show was released back in 2019 and has had fans calling for more ever since. We were all left hanging for some time until Netflix confirmed in 2023 that another season wouldn't be happening.
Why was it canceled? Because it's director, David Fincher, who is known for movies like Fight Club and Gone Girl, had other Netflix projects he was focusing on, Michael Fassbender's The Killer for example.
With this in mind, Mindhunter fans gave up hope of ever seeing Bill Tench (Holt McCallany) and Holden Ford (Jonathan Groff) ever unite and delve into the minds of some of America's most prolific criminals once more - but McCallany has recently given a very optimistic update on the show's future.

Speaking to CBR, the actor shared: "I had a meeting with David Fincher in his office a few months ago, and he said to me that there is a chance that it may come back as three two-hour movies, but I think it's just a chance.
"I know there are writers that that are working, but you know, David has to be happy with scripts."
Going on to voice his own hopes of Mindhunter coming back in some form, McCallany added: "I felt very fortunate and privileged to have gotten to do that show at all. I would love it if it were to return. I think, like I said, you know, he gave me a little bit of hope when I had that meeting with him, but the sun, the moon, and the stars would all have to align."
