Netflix fans say a long-running 'binge worthy' TV series has them on the edge of their seats.
The world's largest streaming service is home to mini-series and - what I like to call mega-series - alike.
These are shows which run for five seasons or more - meaning you can really sink your teeth into them.

Unless they start to lose their way in the middle, which often times happens...
But still, with thousands of titles on offer at Netflix, you're guaranteed to find some decent TV series to become your next obsession.
The crime drama originally aired on NBC from September 2013 through to July 2023, and is available to stream now on Netflix in the US.

The series centers on Raymond 'Red' Reddington (James Spader), a notorious international criminal who mysteriously surrenders to the FBI under the condition that he’ll only work with rookie profiler Elizabeth 'Liz' Keen (Megan Boone).
Reddington brings with him a list of dangerous fugitives and clandestine operatives and offers to help the Bureau take them down, revealing high-stakes conspiracies and long-buried secrets along the way.
Each episode typically focuses on one name from Reddington’s list, teasing out theories about Red’s true motivations, Liz’s hidden past and shadowy forces at play within the government and private sector.
The TV series in question is called The Blacklist, and you can catch season one's trailer below.

Taking to Reddit, one person asked for recommendations on 'binge-worthy' TV shows that would keep them occupied for a 12 hour flight.
Among the responses was one social media who said: "If you like crime with twists there’s one bit older Blacklist on Netflix, I really liked."
Across all 10 seasons, the show averages an impressive 91 percent Rotten Tomatoes score.

Critics said of its first season: "James Spader is riveting as a criminal-turned-informant, and his presence goes a long way toward making this twisty but occasionally implausible crime procedural compelling."
Viewers - some who'd only just discovered the show as recently as July 2025 - gave rave reviews, rating the first season a solid 88 percent.
"A great new series that keeps you on the edge of your seat," one fan said, as a second wrote: "Underrated. Golden at some times, the story slows down a bit at others."

"The entire series, all 10 seasons and 218 episodes, is what I'm reviewing here," another viewer weighed in. "And while it's a long run and at times quite unrealistic, I just have to say: it's one of the best TV shows of all time. Full stop."
The praise continued over on X, formerly Twitter, where one viewer recommended it as a '10/10' series.
"I'm not even kidding, The Blacklist might just be the best thing I’ve watched on Netflix. The plot twist, crime and intelligence is just too much," a second person typed.
All 10 seasons of The Blacklist are streaming now on Netflix.
