The movie stars the likes of Eternals' Don Lee, Chimera's Lee Hee-jun, Lee Jun-young - known primary for his K-pop music endeavours - and Roh Jeong-eui from Our Beloved Summers.

And it's also martial arts choreographer Heo Myeong-haeng's directorial debut and was written by Kim Bo-tong - known for D.P. - and Kwak Jae-min.

The official Netflix synopsis reads: "After a deadly earthquake turns Seoul into a lawless badland, a fearless huntsman springs into action to rescue a teenager abducted by a mad doctor."

Netflix's Tudum article on the movie adds it's set three years post the earthquake and the Bus District contains not only many survivors but 'massive crocodiles' and 'rogue gangs'. Crocodiles alongside the threat of 'deadly experiments on humans' taking place? What are you action lovers waiting for?

The movie may've only been released onto the streaming service last week, but it's already bagged itself a solid Tomatometer score of 73 percent, albeit with a pretty average audience score of 52 percent. And people who've already flocked to watch it are now taking to social media to give their views.

People have sped to X to review the South Korean movie - titled Badland Hunters.

One user said: "One of the most exciting aspects of Badland Hunters in terms of action was director Heo Myeong-haeng utilizing more than just Don Lee's fists to show his tremendous action chops and abilities as a performer, by varying up the weaponry, he created a new style of action for him."

"Badland Hunters 2024. I’m recommending for you, 10/10," another added.

A third commented: "One last hunt to save us all. Must watch movie for action movie lovers !"

Will you be adding it to your watch list?

"Watch Badland Hunters instead. A classic, albeit predictable, gory action flick of people getting what they deserve," a fourth added.

And a final resolved: "#BadlandHunters 100/10."

So, what are you waiting for?
