With Christmas over and 2023 now drawing to a close, Netflix viewers are now starting to way up their favorite shows of the last year.

But while there have been many great shows this year, there's one notable caveat that's being recommended for anyone who wants to give it a try.

And while watching Netflix is pretty entertaining, many of us might also want to 'second screen' it while we have our favourite show on.

That could playing a video game on a smaller console, or even just scrolling on your phone while the programme plays in the background and you sort of half follow it.

While this particular approach is fine for something you've seen before or something which is a bit lighter, viewers have advised others to pay close attention to this show.

Bodies is a crime drama and is based on a comic by Vertigo of the same name.

Vertigo is an offshoot of DC comics and publishes more adult-oriented content featuring imagery which would not be suitable for DC's mainline.

So that should tell you something about the tone of the show right away!

It follows a mystery after a dead body is discovered in London - with an ensemble cast including Stephen Graham, Jacob Fortune-Lloyd, Amaka Okafor, and Kyle Soller.

The storylines takes place over a number of different locations and there is a lot of important detail which may just prove to be crucial at a later point.

Oh, and there are also several timelines.

A synopsis for the series on Netflix reads: "Four detectives. Four timelines. One body. To save Britain's future, they'll need to solve the murder that altered the course of history first."

And while viewers have reacted positively to the series, many have the same piece of advice for anyone who fancies giving it a go.

The show follows four different detectives in four times.

One wrote: "The level focus you want while watching is extreme.

"Like you can't skip 10-10 secs and watch because every scene may have deep detail which will come out in later scene and relate."

A second posted: "Excellent but you can’t miss a minute."

While a third wrote: "It's good but you have to really watch. If you miss even one scene. You won't have a clue what is going on."

Finally, a fourth advised: "Put your phone in another room. This series is excellent but if you don’t pay close attention you’ll quickly be lost and you’ll hate it.

"It’s one of the best series you can find."

So, definitely no scrolling through X while you watch this show.
