For those not acquainted with the series, we'll get you up to speed.

The Umbrella Academy starts on the premise that 'one day in 1989, 43 infants are inexplicably born to random, unconnected women who showed no signs of pregnancy the day before'.

"Seven are adopted by billionaire industrialist Sir Reginald Hargreeves, who creates the Umbrella Academy and prepares his "children" to save the world."

Fast-forward to the future, and the six surviving children drift apart as families sometimes do.

However, the mysterious news of their dad's death reunites the super-siblings and sets series one in motion.

The new series sees the siblings come back from the 1960s.

After investigating Hargreeves' death, series two sees the siblings time travel to the 1960s in an effort to avert the apocalypse.

While the family seems to have done just that, series three sees the siblings return to the present day only to find that their father is alive and their old home, now called The Sparrow Academy, has another set of super-siblings.

So, it's pretty safe to assume that the superheroes are in the wrong timeline, or they really messed up reality.

Netflix said of the new season: "Enter the Sparrow Academy. Smart, stylish, and about as warm as a sea of icebergs, the Sparrows immediately clash with the Umbrellas in a violent face-off that turns out to be the least of everyone’s concerns."

Fans will be thrilled to see Klaus is as energetic as ever.

However, The Sparrow Academy isn't the only setting for this spectacular series, and this next location is sure to ring a bell with fans of the book.

That's right, the infamous Hotel Oblivion, which is also the title of the third book series in the collection from Gerard Way and illustrated by Gabriel Bá, is checking into the new series.

The metaphysical hotel, which is set on the sidelines of reality. is sure to kick up some drama for our protagonists.

We can't wait to see how it all pans out.

We won't have to wait much longer either, as the series is set to air on Netflix on 22 June.
