Michael B Jordan has given eager fans an update on how I am Legend 2 is coming along
Will Smith has been a big name in Hollywood for decades now as the actor has delivered many classic films.
One such classic is 2007’s I am Legend and last year it was confirmed that there was a sequel in the works.
The first film focused on Smith’s character Robert Neville, a scientist attempting to find a cure for a disease that has essentially wiped out the human race. The disease not only kills humans in droves but for those lucky enough to not die, they are turned into monstrous creatures known as dark seekers.

Spoilers ahead but the film concludes with Neville discovering a cure and him realizing that those ‘monsters’ are not just brainless creatures but view him as a legendary monster that captures them for his experiments.
There is no word on what the plot of the sequel is set to be but it has been confirmed Michael B Jordan will star alongside Smith.
Speaking to People Magazine on June 5, the actor said he and Smith are working on the story now.
"We're still working on the script and getting that up to par," Jordan said.
"It doesn't have a release date or anything like that. I'm not sure exactly where we're going to be filming that one, but I'm really excited to get in front of the camera with him.
“Being somebody that I've looked up to for a really long time, to be able to work with Will is something I'm really looking forward to. I'm really excited."
Speaking to ET in May, Smith also said the pair were making good progress on the film despite filming not yet being underway.
"We had a couple weeks together about a month ago, I think it's looking good,” he said
"[We have some] really solid ideas. I think we're going to make it on screen together. That dude is the truth, so I would love to do that."
Last year Smith has also previously addressed one of the big questions on fans’ mind.
The theatric version of the film sees Smith’s character actually die at the end of the film.
However, to get around this for a sequel, the film will follow on from the alternate ending where Smith’s character lived.
