GTA fan asked Trevor actor to ‘cuss at me’ like his character and he did not disappoint

Whilst they say never meet your heroes, one Grand Theft Auto fan was elated to meet a foul-mouthed Steven Ogg at Comic Con.

Celebrities often get strange requests at comic cons, but not usually to be aggressive to fans.

However, one Grand Theft Auto (GTA) player so enjoyed the high-speed game that he asked voice actor, Steven Ogg, to swear at him.

Having played the gritty protagonist Trevor Philips in the gaming franchise, and Ogg didn’t disappoint fans with a foul-mouthed rant.

It’s not the first time the Canadian actor has fully committed to his character, with Better Call Saul star even recording lines in his underwear for authenticity. (Yes, you read that right)

Taking inspiration from his alter-ego semi-nude appearance in Grand Theft Auto V, the actor even ran around whilst recording – according to one of his co-stars.

According to Ned Luke, who plays Michael De Santa in the hit video game series, the set was ‘very loose’ with Ogg also exhibiting other NSWF behaviour.

Whilst you might feel that stripping down was enough, Ogg reportedly also had terrible flatulence – due to his healthy diet.

Before someone calls HR though, the actor was forgiven by others on set for his bizarre on-set antics as Ned explained.

"Our set was very loose, pretty crazy, and a lot of fun,” explained Luke, adding: "Steven is very free with his farts. We’d give him s*** about that all the time.”

“Then after every day we worked, he would strip down to his underwear and run around the stage,” said the voice actor, who then branded Ogg a ‘freak show’.

With method acting like this, it’s unsurprising then that Ogg was more than happy to oblige with the strange fan request.

It happened during the New York Comic-con, as the actor appeared on a panel alongside his fellow voice actors – back in 2013.

Whilst we can’t see the fan’s face, we can only imagine how shocked Diego was as Ogg stands and charges towards him – screaming curse words in his face mere moments later.

Understandably, the crowd go wild as the actor shouts ‘Go f**k yourself’, with the camera visibly shaking as Ogg gets up close and personal during the fan encounter.

The actor then marches back to the stage, as the audience continues to cheer and the elated gamer returns to his seat.

They even receive a high-five from a fellow fan after the incredible moment, with the video going semi-viral after being uploaded to YouTube.

Whilst it’s often said that you should never meet your heroes, we think this fan would beg to differ.
