Gogglebox Stars Let Slip New Series Start Date In Cheeky Post

Gogglebox stars Marcus Luther and Mica Ven have revealed what date the Channel 4 show is set to return for its latest series.

Taking to Instagram, the much-loved pair not only appeared to confirm their return to the hit reality series, but also revealed the exact date that the 18th series is set to commence.

Mica took to the platform despite currently being on holiday in the Caribbean to share an image of the couple alongside the highly-anticipated announcement.

In the Instagram post, the Channel 4 star joked: 'Not the Side gig putting out work reminders while ppl are on holiday', before she revealed: 'Gogglebox is back from our sofas to your living rooms Feb 18th Gang.'

Mica confirmed that herself and partner Marcus would both 'be there,' tagging him in the image of the pair sat on their sofa, pointing the remote at the camera.

The post has since amassed over 5,000 likes, with fans expressing their excitement over the show's return. One said: 'Cannot wait to see you guys back on TV!'

Another wrote: 'I am soo excited for this!!'

A third commented: 'I was just thinking about this today! So glad it’s starting again.'

Users on Twitter exploded with similar excitement after a fan page re-shared the image, with one user reflecting: 'Oh thank goodness, cos I'm getting tired of re-watching all the old ones haha', while a second said: 'Now we’re talking some decent tv can’t wait see yous then.'

Last month, Georgia Bell, another star of the Channel 4 show, took to Instagram to share news of her pregnancy, meanwhile, at the end of last year, Gogglebox's Shirley and Dave offered fans an insight into their family Christmas dinner.

Channel 4 has yet to confirm the news of the show's return, and it's not known exactly who will be joining Marcus and Mica in the latest series.

However, star Stephen Webb is likely to return for the 18th season, after he featured in the Gogglebox Christmas Festive Special, which aired on January 2 and is available to catch up on All 4.
