Disney+ is axing a 'brave' Machine Gun Kelly movie this September, leaving fans just days to re-watch it.
Colson Baker, better known by his stage name Machine Gun Kelly, is a man of many talents.
A rapper, singer, actor - and potential alien hybrid? - you're bound to have either seen, heard or read about the star in recent years.

He was notably in an on/off five-year relationship with actress Megan Fox, who also features in the 'emotional' movie, ironically, as MGK's character's ex-partner.
Off-screen, the pair share baby daughter Saga Blade together, but their romantic connection came to an end for good back in March.
So, too, is their movie's time on Disney+; the streaming service is getting rid of the flick this September, probably down to licensing agreements expiring.
The movie follows MGK as Cole, a self-destructive rapper who finds himself struggling with the relentless demands of the music industry, toxic relationships and addiction.

At the height of his fame, Cole numbs himself with drugs and outright chaotic behavior as his assistant Ilana (Maddie Hasson) attempts put him on the right path.
The movie explores the murky, dangerous underbelly of celebrity culture and how fame, money and mounting pressure can make a life's dream feel like a nightmare.
Fox plays Mae, Cole's estranged ex-wife and the mother of their child, who is concerned for their young daughter amid his erratic behavior.

The movie in question is called Taurus, named after protagonist Cole Taurus.
And while MGK usually cringes at his movie appearances, this one was different.

“I don’t know if it was the hair, like the long hair or whatever, but I was able to watch it not cringing at my own image,” he said, as per the Independent. “I like that guy on the inside."

The movie racked up a rather average 64 percent from Rotten Tomatoes critics, as they noted it 'fails to delve deeply into the creative process,' but praised its 'engaging insight into the double-edged nature of celebrity.'
Fans appeared much more receptive; across more than 100 reviews, they rated it a respectable 88 percent.
"This movie explores deep waters. I appreciated the brave performances and artistic direction," one social media user said.
A second described it as an 'emotional ride,' as a third applauded MGK's performance, hailing it 'raw and authentic.'
But fans also reckon the film missed a few tricks; mainly, the subtext around Cole getting so famous and choosing to stay there, and a more 'fleshed out' script.

Still, they reckoned it was worth the watch, especially for MGK's performance.
Taurus is streaming now on Disney+ until its removal on September 2.
