If pain ain't your game, we’d recommend you stop reading now.

A woman who already has 20 facial piercings has taken to TikTok to declare she wants to get the mother of all face bling - a mandible piercing.

The gnarly piercing starts at the bottom of the tongue and pokes out through the chin - ripping through several layers of tissue on its way out. The only problem with this specific type of piercing? Well, according to TikToker @lefthanded_granny, it’s illegal.

See what she had to say below:

The social media user explained in a recent video: “I want the mandible piercing. It goes up through your chin and through all the layers of tissue and comes out from underneath your tongue.

"I want that done, but I have not been able to get it done because I'm in the state of Indiana and that's considered an illegal piercing.”

@lefthanded_granny went on: “But pretty soon I'm going to venture out and find somebody who will do it for me. And that will be pain well worth it!"

She then clarified that the piercing wasn’t banned by the state she lives in, but rather by people in the ‘piercing world’.

Clearing up her ‘illegal piercings’ comment in a separate video, @lefthanded_granny said: “What I mean when I say this, is I go to piercers to get my piercings done.

“I’m in the state of Indiana. A lot of these piercers they’re not as advanced in order to do it. The state of Indiana does not ban it.”

She went on: “If I had the piercing, what could they do about that? I’m saying I can’t find a piercer in the state of Indiana to do these piercings. So they consider it an illegal piercing within the piercing world.

“If you’re not interested in the piercing world, you’re not gonna understand. So, that’s what I mean by the state of Indiana. That’s where I’m from. That’s where I reside.

“And the piercers around here do not do these piercings. They’re considered illegal piercings.”

The piercing isn't banned by the state, but is banned by people in the ‘piercing world’.

Responding to the video in which @lefthanded_granny said she wanted to get a mandible piercing, one person wrote: “It’s illegal for a reason sis,” while another added: “Please don’t.”

Other comments included: “babe it’s illegal for a reason stay safe,” “very dangerous, do not do that” and “ahhhhh you must have such a high pain tolerance, i squirmed just thinking of how much that would hurt.”

We second that last comment.
