A woman realized she was pregnant, only after experiencing something strange in a bathroom.
Picture this: it’s 2020, lockdown is upon us and you sit down on a New York City bathroom’s toilet seat.
Things are normal, and you’re going through the motions, when all of a sudden something odd happens that indicates you’re pregnant.

Naginah Gogolli’s moment of clarity came in the form of a viral TikTok video, where she admits her toilet seat became a nightmare for her to figure out.
“We cleaned it several times a day after it never [came] off…we’re nonstop cleaning it,” she explained to PEOPLE after revealing she believed bad quality clothing was to blame for the issue.
“I thought that either me or my husband were wearing not good quality clothing."
But instead, it indicated that she was pregnant.

Naginah revealed her toilet seat had turned purple after sitting on it, after she and her husband decided to get off birth control as while they were not actively trying to have a child, they said it would be left in ‘God’s hands’.
When she noticed the change to her seat, she had no idea it could mean anything significant about her health, until her sister told her.
Explaining the contents of the video, which sees her talk about the moment her family broke the news, Naginah said: “Just like in the video, basically I had family over who was insinuating that I was pregnant.

“My sister's like you’re pregnant and I'm like the f**k girl, no I'm not.”
But as she had days left until her period would come, she decided there’s ‘no way’ they could be right.
Of course, when her husband Googled it, the search result revealed the same theory.
Naginah revealed that the searches said: “The first thing to pop up was like normal color transfer from clothes, then it was the skin disorder, and then some women have reported this during pregnancy."
But she wasn’t convinced.

However, a second clue would come soon as while the pair were arguing about whether or not she could be pregnant, Naginah suddenly needed to throw up.
“After cleaning up dinner, I have a very strong stomach… and immediately I run to my purple toilet seat and I'm just puking my brains out,” she recalled.
Her husband began laughing, and told her she was definitely pregnant, and after taking a pregnancy test... it was confirmed.
“Honestly, once I found out that I was pregnant, I couldn't wait to tell them that they were right,” she admitted.

From filming her odd colored toilet to finding out she’s going to be a mom, she revealed that she didn’t realize how many other women went through the same journey.
“I was blown away by the comments of people saying, yeah, me too, me too,” Naginah said. “Seeing the feedback that I got on my social media was honestly really validating for me.”
So, why did it happen?

According to her doctor, they’ve ‘never heard of that’, leaving it a total mystery. But Healthline reports that it could be down to pregnancy hormones and Chromhidrosis.
Now, she has a little boy who shares her rare heart defect, requiring him to wear a pacemaker to live.
Calling him a ‘blessing’, she says it’s a miracle he’s here.
