YouTube star MrBeast teared up while recounting the time he tipped a pizza delivery worker $10,000.

The YouTuber is famous for his big money videos where he gives away large amounts of money to members of the public. Sometimes there's a challenge involved, such as when he recreated Netflix hit Squid Game, but without all the murdering.

Another challenge involved getting people to stay within a circle, and the last one in the circle was the winner. However, some videos involve the YouTuber giving away money to an unsuspecting member of the public.

One such video involved MrBeast giving away $10,000 to someone who was delivering a pizza. MrBeast tipped the delivery driver $10,000, and it seems that initially the driver had simply been left a bit stunned.

However, Mr Beast recounted what happened next.

He said: "I tipped a pizza delivery guy ten grand. He didn't really react too much, but then the next day he came back. I was like, God is he going to ask for more money, I was like f**k.

"I didn't want to answer but I answered it anyways. I opened the door, and he just started crying.

"He was like I didn't even think this money was real. I just took tomorrow off work and I haven't seen my kids in so long because I work every day.

"I just got to spend a day with my daughter. He's just like this is the great day of my life, I'm so happy.

"And then he hugged me and he's crying and I don't even know what to do. Even I'm tearing up a bit."

People took to the comments to express their approval of the kind gesture.

One person wrote: "You didn’t give him $10,000. You gave him time with his kids. Respect."

The delivery driver came back the next day to thank him.

Another replied: "For most men working the regular jobs delivering construction $10,000 is a lot of money and it helps them get out of the hole and it relieves a lot of stress."

A third wrote: "I'm not gonna lie, I got tears hearing him tell this story. It's tragic that in the richest country in earth, so many people are in a position that $10,000 or even $5000 is life changing money."

While it's not clear exactly how much money MrBeast has given away, one investigation by YouTube channel Alien Art Charts estimated that as of 2022, he had given away $8.58 million.
