Taylor Swift fans are saying song on Midnights album is referencing Kim Kardashian

Taylor Swift has just dropped her new album Midnights, and fans think one song might have a little something to do with Kim Kardashian.

Taylor Swift has just dropped her new album Midnights, and fans think one song might have a little something to do with Kim Kardashian.

As if we weren't already living our best fall lives, Taylor finally dropped Midnights and we couldn't be happier.

Now, as with any Taylor album, we know 'All Too Well' that half the fun is guessing whether the songs are fictional or a subtle reference to some real-life drama.

But before we dive into the song potentially about Kim, let's give some context to the fan theories.

So, Taylor and Kim, who now seem to be friends, had a pretty highly publicised feud, which began in February 2016 when Kim’s estranged husband Kanye West released his song ‘Famous’.

The track featured the lines: “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that b*tch famous.”

The 45-year-old claimed at the time that he got Taylor’s blessing to include the controversial lyric, however, Taylor’s team denied this, adding that the 'Shake it Off' singer was not aware of the line: “I made that b*tch famous.”

In July 2016, Kim posted videos to her Snapchat account showing Kanye’s phone conversation with Taylor.

Kanye reads the lyrics of the song to Taylor, however, the pop superstar released a statement soon after the videos were leaked by Kim emphasising that she was not told about the 'b*tch' reference.

She said: "Where is the video of Kanye telling me he was going to call me ‘that b*tch’ in his song? It doesn’t exist because it never happened.

"You don’t get to control someone’s emotional response to being called ‘that b*tch’ in front of the entire world."

Since then, there have been a few allegations of subtle shade-throwing, but since Kim filed for divorce from Kanye, it seems that the pair are on decent terms.

The fans lost it ahead of Midnight's release when they found out that the new album would be dropping on Kim Kardashian's birthday.

And, now fans think that the album's release date might not be the only thing it has to do with Kim.

In Taylor's song 'Vigilante S**t', which is a bop by the way, some fans claim that the singer references being friends with the reality star.

Fans promptly lost their s***.

The lyrics in question are: "She needed cold hard proof, so I gave her some / She had the envelope, where you think she got it from? / Now she gets the house, gets the kids, gets the pride / Picture me thick as thieves with your ex-wife / And she looks so pretty / Drivin' in your Benz / Lately she's been dressin' for revenge."

You can listen to the song below (it contains some strong language):

Yep, and fans promptly lost it, with one writing: "You can’t tell me this isn’t about Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. We love, adore and respect a petty Taylor Swift."

While another added: "If this isn't about #taylorswift being friends with Kim Kardashian post the Kanye divorce...."
