Model LaNisha Cole appears to have indirectly thrown shade at Nick Cannon, after he forgot their daughter, Onyx, while listing out his kids.

Cannon has become somewhat infamous for being a father to 12 children by six different women.

So, it almost didn't come as a surprise when, in a recent interview, he tried to list off all his kids from memory - and forgot one.

Rising to the challenge on the Howard Stern Show this week, Nick rattled them all off: "Moroccan and Monroe, which we call Roc and Roe, Golden Powerful and then Zion, Zillion, Zen, And then from there, Legendary Love. Then there’s Rise..."

Stern jumped in to tell him 'you missed', but got cut off by Cannon who said he wasn't finished.

Eventually, when he rounded out what he thought was the full list, he was told 'you left out Onyx Ice Cole'.

Nick complained that Howard Stern 'threw [him] off', and that missing one of his kids' names was going to 'create problems' for him later on.

Not long after that interview aired, LaNisha Cole, Onyx's mother, took to Instagram to rave about her baby girl.

Perhaps the timing was just a coincidence... but it seemed a little targeted.

Posting a photo of Onyx to her Instagram Story, LaNisha raved: "My whole world... the most beautiful little girl.

"I will do everything I can every single day to make sure she knows how special she is and how much I love and adore her."

After sharing a whole collection of snaps of the little seven-month-old, LaNisha shared another, more direct message with fans.

"It's not normal to have your life play out in front of an audience, but this is the age we live in," she wrote on a plain black background.

"That being said ... no person's path is linear.

"There's going to be blind curves, peaks, valleys, and sometimes we make wrong turns or run into dead ends. Simply correct course and get back on your forward moving path."

She continued: "I pray every day for strength, guidance, and peace. Regardless of where I'm at on my path, I know that God's got me. And I've got Onyx.

"To all the moms out there... take care of your heart with the same love and patience you have for your babies. It's not always easy but we were built for this."

LaNisha and Nick welcomed baby Onyx - Cannon's ninth child - in September 2022.

She was born just nine days before Cannon's tenth child, Rise Messiah Cannon, with model Brittany Bell.

One month later, Nick and Abby De La Rosa welcomed his 11th child, Beautiful Zeppelin Cannon.

And, finally, in late December, he and Alyssa Scott announced the birth of his 12th child, Halo Marie Cannon.

With so many kids in the space of just a few weeks, it's a wonder Nick didn't forget anyone else's name.
