Zach Bryan has tackled criticism from 'middle aged douche bags' after mocking Turning Point's 'alternative' Super Bowl halftime show.
Bad Bunny headlined the actual Super Bowl halftime show at Levi's Stadium, California on Sunday night (February 8), performing the 13-minute show almost entirely in Spanish - except for the phrase 'God bless America.'
The Puerto Rican rapper had previously refused to tour the US over fears of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids, and the previous weekend called for 'ICE out' while accepting the Grammy for best album.
In response to his Super Bowl headline slot, Turning Point USA, founded by the late Charlie Kirk, decided to create their own halftime show instead.

It included country rock singer Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice and Gabby Barrett, and was summed up as 'so incredible' by Kirk's wife, Erika.
Not everyone was impressed by the artists' participation though, with fellow country singer Bryan taking to Instagram to poke fun at the whole concept.

The former US Navy veteran took to his Stories where he shared a joke video of a friend watching the Turning Point show on his phone, using his spare hand to shield himself from Bad Bunny's performance on the main TV screen.
"What Kid Rock actually thinks is happening across America," Bryan wrote as the caption.
The 29-year-old - who previously called out ICE in the lyrics of his song 'Bad News' - ruffled some feathers with the video, with some followers sending him angry messages in response.
Naturally, Bryan posted these to his Stories as he issued a reply of his own.

One man ranted: "We’re done with your p***y boy your fall off is inevitable. I followed you for years but lately I’ve just proved how much of a f**king f****t you are.
"I wish your pussy boy a** would’ve hopped over that fence and let Gavin Adcock whoop your ass cause you definitely deserve one. F**k boy."
Bryan captioned the screenshot: "Bro the irony in how upset a bunch of middle aged douchebags are in my DMs this morning hahahahah."
A second lashed out: "wtf happens to you? Boy you turned into a Hollywood sell out b***h quick. You were my favorite artist. Now you are nothing but another dumba** out of touch elitist. S**t happens quick homie."

Hitting back at that message, Bryan said: "I don’t care what side you’re on, a bunch of adults throwing temper tantrums and their own halftime show is embarrassing as hell and the most cringe s**t on the planet."
And judging by Bryan’s response, he’s more than happy to lose a few angry followers if it means saying exactly what he thinks.
Bad Bunny's performance also drew criticism from Donald Trump, who slammed the show as 'absolutely terrible' and 'one of the worst ever.'
It featured performances from guest stars including Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin, while Cardi B, Karol G and Pedro Pascal all appeared onstage.
A billboard at the end of the show read: "The only thing more powerful than hate is love," while Bad Bunny also held a football at the end of the segment with the words: "Together, We Are America."
