Jada Pinkett Smith left everyone stunned last week when she revealed she and Will Smith had separated, but some fans are convinced the general public weren't the only ones surprised by the news.
The mom to Willow and Jaden Smith revealed her split from Will in an interview ahead of the release of her new book, Worthy, which promises to be 'gripping' and 'painfully honest'.
As part of her strive for honesty, 52-year-old Jada revealed that for the last seven years, she and Will have effectively been 'divorced' - although not legally.

The timeframe encompasses the unforgettable Oscars slap as well as the premier of Will's Oscar-winning movie King Richard; events at which Will and Jada appeared to present as a couple.
Pictures of Will at a premier of the 2021 film show him with a smile on his face and his arm around Jada, but Jada has now claimed it was all a rouse.
In an interview with NBC News, the mum confirmed that she and Will have been living 'completely separate lives' since 2016.
She also told The New York Times that she and Will continue to be life partners in 'family and business', in what they describe as a 'relationship of transparency'.
Only Jada and Will really know what's gone on between them in the last seven years, but some fans of the pair are absolutely convinced that Will has been left out of the loop when it comes to his own relationship.
After a clip from Jada's interview with NBC News was shared on TikTok, viewers responded to express belief he had no idea he was separated from his wife.
"Will is probably finding out just like us," one TikToker wrote, as another commented: "I feel like this is her story but Will is living a different one."
"I wonder if Will knows," added a third.
Will has since responded to the revelations Jada has made in Worthy, telling The New York Times the memoir 'kind of woke up him'.
He described Jada as being more 'resilient, clever and compassionate than he’d understood', and added: “When you’ve been with someone for more than half of your life a sort of emotional blindness sets in, and you can all too easily lose your sensitivity to their hidden nuances and subtle beauties."
Jada has moved out of her home with Will in recent years, and as a 50th birthday present to herself she bought her own home in Calabasas.
Jada's new memoir is set to be released tomorrow, 17 October.
