It's always a bit of a shock to the senses when a celebrity is spotted out of their natural red carpet, movie premiere and fancy award ceremony habitat.
Well, the latest star to wind their way into a somewhat incongruous setting is Lana Del Rey, who has sent the internet into a total frenzy after rocking up to a popular restaurant chain to clock on and do a 'shift' last week.
Yep - you read that right. The award-winning singer headed to the Waffle House of all places, apron and all, and even had a little sing-song with one of the customers. Check it out:
Videos of the 'Summertime Sadness' hit-maker have been making their rounds across social media for a few days now.
One of which has been posted to TikTok and shows Del Rey crouching down at an elderly customer's table booth and they sing 'Amazing Grace' together.

The short clip has since gone viral after clocking up more than 2.6 million views, with thousands upon thousands of Lana Del Rey stans eager to share their reaction to the heartwarming clip.
Many couldn't quite wrap their heads around just how bizarre the whole situation was, with one TikTok user writing: "She’s so random I’m crying I love this."
A second stated: "This is so Lana Del Rey of her."
That's for sure.

A third dubbed the ordeal a 'fever dream' while a fourth added: "She is so random I’m so confused still."
"I love her so much," praised another, "I love how she is still so pure and lovely."
A sixth declared: "I need to run away and become a Waffle House waitress right now."

A final fan echoed: "What a pure moment. Almost brings tears to my eyes for some reason. Lana is a beautiful soul and I never expected it."
And embarking on a duet with a customer is by no means the only antic Del Rey got up to during her 'shift' at the Waffle House.
Not only did the 'Blue Jeans' singer sign a fan's poster outside the Florence restaurant chain in Alabama, but she also left one super-fan in utter 'disbelief' after sharing a vape with her.
While we still have no idea yet as to why Del Rey showed up at the Waffle House in a uniform complete with a name badge, it's clear fans are going to be ranting and raving about the peculiar - but nonetheless fascinating - situation for quite some time now.
