Well now, another intricate cross-over appears to be taking shape, involving a pregnant Kourtney Kardashian, her musician husband Travis Barker, and her younger sister Kim Kardashian.
Rumors have been swirling for some weeks that, back in the day - prior to his elaborate Portofino wedding to mum-of-three Kourtney - pop-punk drummer Travis previously enjoyed a short-lived fling with her sister Kim.
The speculation began following the resurface of some quotes he'd previously written about the SKIMS founder in his 2015 memoir, Can I Say.
Travis described her as 'hot' in the book, and admitted to 'secretly checking her out' during a previous meeting.
Rumors were then heightened by high-tension scenes playing out in the ongoing series of The Kardashians, in which Kim and Kourtney have been shown embroiled in a heated confrontation.
In recent scenes, Kourtney accused Kim of using her wedding as a 'business opportunity', branding her younger sister an 'egotistical narcissist' and a 'witch', adding that she 'f***ing hates' her.
Speaking to press this week however, Travis - who is currently expecting his first child with wife Kourtney - poured cold water on talk he once hooked up with Kim, branding the rumors 'ridiculous'.
"You give people a little information and they think they’ve solved the mystery of ‘this is why they’re fighting.’ It’s just so ridiculous," he told the Los Angeles Times.
"It’s like, ‘Kourtney’s fans are worried about Travis. He’s a womanizer.’ Stop it," Travis added, before insisting he wanted to share 'all that stuff' in his memoir 'because I wanted to move past it'.
He continued: "It was therapeutic for me. That’s her sister. She knows we used to talk. Nothing bad was going on."
Kim herself previously addressed the rumors, turning to social media back in 2021 - just weeks after Kourtney and Travis went public with their relationship - to shut down speculation.
When a fan of the reality star explicitly asked about a past fling with Travis, mum-of-four Kim wrote: "NO! False narrative!"
"We’ve been friends for years," she continued. "And I’m so happy for him and Kourt."
