It has emerged that Kourtney Kardashian has not had an alcoholic drink in three years of sobriety, which all began with an admission about her sex life with husband Travis Barker.
Kourtney shared the positive news in a post to her Instagram Stories on Friday (January 16), after mistakenly believing that she had been offered alcohol while trying to advertise yet another Kardashian product that will soon be hitting the shelves.
The revelation that she had avoided drinking for three yeas came as she participated in a promotion for sister Khloe's protein popcorn brand, Khloud. While launching its latest flavor, white cheddar, Kourtney was offered a gin mocktail.
Captioning the post 'Fancy Friday', the 46-year-old appeared upset to have been offered what she thought was a boozy beverage.

"@Khloudfoods @KhloeKardashian def told them I haven’t drank alcohol in three years,” she wrote.

In the video shared by Kourtney, one of the Khloud employees promotes the new popcorn flavor as a 'pop of luxury' while pairing it with a mocktail to wash the low-calorie high-protein treat down.
But with Kourtney worried about her three year success with quitting alcohol, the representative added: “This is a little gin mocktail with Ritual [zero-proof] gin. Cheers.”

However Kourtney's journey to quit alcohol, after many years of attending booze-heavy public functions and events, was first hinted at on TV, when she shared the preparation she was getting into to have a baby with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker.
Speaking on The Kardashians in 2022, Kourtney shared: “I did this [Panchakarma] cleanse 10 years ago. I kept telling Travis about this and this is the one thing that we haven’t tried that he’s heard me talk about."
As part of the cleanse, the now mom-of-four had to cut all alcohol out of her life, in order to boost her chances of succeeding with IVF.

She told Barker: "I’m on so much estrogen right now, that on top of not having sex with you, or not having caffeine, if my moods take a turn, that’s why.”
Despite undergoing multiple rounds of unsuccessful IVF treatments and making huge dietary changes, the pair ultimately conceived their son Rocky naturally, with Kourtney giving birth to him in November 2023.
During that time, she told Vanity Fair Italia that she was under strict instructions from doctors to ensure the pregnancy was a success, including" “No workouts, no Pilates, no caffeine and no plane trips. Even no sex!”
And the whole experience showed the Poosh founder that she should have followed her own intuition and avoided the drama of IVF. She said: "The truth is, I felt like I was doing something that wasn’t right for me.

“My intuition was telling me that it wasn’t suitable for me. I don’t even take medicine, [so] imagine that it was working against my body rather than for it."
