Taylor Swift has officially been roped into Blake Lively's legal drama.
Swift was once close pals with the Gossip Girl alumni but appeared to have distanced herself from Lively amid her legal woes with Justin Baldoni.
Lively filed a legal complaint against Baldoni for sexual harassment and allegedly taking part in a 'smear campaign' against her in December 2024.
Baldoni has denied his former co-star's claims. Shortly after, the Jane the Virgin actor filed a countersuit against Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and sued them for $400 million in damages. This was then dismissed by a judge in June.

Amid the ongoing back-and-forth between Lively and Baldoni, there has been speculation that Swift and Lively's friendship would come into question in the lawsuit, and the singer is now reported to have agreed to sit for a deposition (as per court documentation from Baldoni's legal team).

The 'Bad Blood' hitmaker is likely to be quizzed about correspondence she had with Lively while the mom-of-four was filming It Ends With Us.
The deposition is expected to take place sometime next month, E! News reports, with the court documents claiming that due to 'preexisting professional obligations', Swift 'had agreed to appear' in the last week of October.

UNILAD have approached Lively, Swift, and Baldoni's reps for comment.
The news of Swift's pending deposition comes after Baldoni's team alleged in May that Lively had asked Swift to delete their text exchanges as they attempted to subpoena the Grammy Award-winning singer.

ABC News reported at the time that Lively 'demanded that Ms. Swift release a statement of support for Ms. Lively' and that if she refused to do so 'private text messages of a personal nature in Ms. Lively's possession would be released'.

Reps for the actress denied the allegations.
Mike Gottlieb said in a statement: "We unequivocally deny all of these so-called allegations, which are cowardly sourced to supposed anonymous sources, and completely untethered from reality."
In a swipe at Baldoni and his production studio's legal team, Gottlieb went on: "This is what we have come to expect from the Wayfarer parties' lawyers, who appear to love nothing more than shooting first, without any evidence, and with no care for the people they are harming in the process.
"We will imminently file motions with the court to hold these attorneys accountable for their misconduct here."
