Priscilla Presley says she wants to be buried next to ex-husband Elvis after her death

Priscilla Presley's wish to be buried next to her ex-husband Elvis has been granted.

Priscilla Presley has been granted her wish to be buried next to her ex-husband Elvis Presley.

It comes months after granddaughter Riley Keough and Priscilla reached a settlement agreement over Lisa Marie Presley’s estate, something that has now been approved by a Los Angeles Superior Court judge.

Judge Lynn Scaduto signed the agreement on Monday (30 October), which will see Priscilla receive a $1 million lump sump from funded by Lisa Marie’s $25 million life insurance policy.

Priscilla's son, Navarone Garibaldi, will be a beneficiary of Lisa Marie’s trust, and she will be buried near her ex-husband Elvis in Graceland upon her death.

Alongside the $1 million lump sum, Priscilla will also receive $100,000 a year for her role as special advisor trust related to its shareholder interest in Elvis Presley Enterprises, according to People.

Documents add that the payments will be dished out in instalments for the next ten years or until Priscilla’s death, regardless of whether Riley ever decides to terminate Priscilla’s role as special advisor within the organization.

As a result of the agreement being approved by a judge, Priscilla is expected to be buried in the Meditation Garden of Graceland, which Riley now owns after it was passed down from Elvis to Lisa Marie and then on to her.

Elvis’ mother, Gladys Presley, father, Vernon Presley, grandmother, Minnie Mae, Lisa Marie, and her son, Benjamin Keough, were all lied to rest in Graceland alongside Elvis himself.

Benjamin tragically died after taking his own life in 2020, while Lisa Marie died of a small-bowel obstruction in January at the age of 54.

Earlier this week, Priscilla opened up about the loss of her family members as she sat down with journalist Piers Morgan for an interview on TalkTV.

During the interview, she opened up about her relationship with Elvis, the movie about his life, and their wider family.

Morgan addressed Lisa Marie's death and said it must have been 'unbearable' for Priscilla, who pointed out that she'd also lost her own mom not too long after Benjamin's death.

"It was unbearable. I lost my mother, I lost my grandson and I lost my daughter," she said.

Priscilla went on to say that losing Benjamin was the 'hardest thing' for Lisa Marie, who 'adored' her son and considered him 'the love of her life', according to Priscilla.

"She would do anything for him. Anything," she continued.
