Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson are said to have electric on-screen chemistry in their new move The Naked Gun, but their real-life situation isn't quite so clear-cut.
The two actors are currently on a press tour to promote their movie, which is a remake of the beloved 1988 flick, and some of their intimate interactions have sparked speculation about whether they could be more than just co-stars.
Amid the pair being spotted apparently kissing at the premier for the movie, one Twitter user commented: "Um, looks like they love each other."
Another added: "They look great together."

Hoping to get to the bottom of the rumors once and for all, TODAY show host Craig Melvin decided to ask Anderson and Neeson directly about their relationship when they appeared on the show on July 29.
He said: “What’s the deal here? You’re both single right now. There’s clearly chemistry on display throughout this film. Are you two an item?”
Neeson initially showed shock as he responded: "Craig!", while Anderson said: “What? I don’t understand the question.”
They did go on to offer a few more details, but their answer unfortunately wasn't quite as straightforward as fans might have hoped.
Neeson said: “I had never met Pamela before. We met on set. And we discovered we had a lovely, budding chemistry — as two actors.
"It’s like, ‘Oh, this is nice. Let’s not mold this. Let’s just let it breathe. And that’s what we did.”
Craig then attempted to clarify as Anderson covered her face and laughed, saying: “We’re watching the beginning of the breathing of a budding relationship. America’s here for it, we're here for whatever this turns into."
For some it definitely seems that the pair are more than just friends, but fans still aren't 100 percent sure, and are now just hoping that it's not all a publicity stunt.
"I hope this is true," one fan wrote on Twitter, as another added: "I'm not one for caring about celebrity couples, but if rumors are true about Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson, I'm going to stan that relationship so hard."
One user even went as far as asking Grok whether the rumors were true, saying: "@grok are liam neeson and pamela anderson in a relationship or is this promo [...]?"
The good news is, Grok delivered by citing online publications and claiming that the pair 'are in a genuine budding romance that began on the set of the Naked Gun reboot'.
Grok added: "It's not merely promo."
The news of the apparent relationship comes a few months after Neeson told People in October that he was 'madly in love' with Anderson while discussing their work together. This, combined with the fact they've not outright denied they're dating, makes me think it just might be for real!
