Liam Neeson has lifted the lid on how 'strange' it was to work with an intimacy coordinator.
Neeson's new movie The Naked Gun hits theaters on Friday (August 1), where the Irishman plays Detective Frank Drebin Jr. Pamela Anderson also stars in the film, playing the role of Beth.
The pair have been the talk of the film industry of late as they promote their upcoming movie, even sparking real-life romance rumors. With their very evident chemistry in mind, the celebrity duo were forced to address their relationship.
When asked if they were an item, Anderson replied: "What? I don’t understand the question."

Also dancing around the answer, Neeson added: "I had never met Pamela before. We met on set. And we discovered we had a lovely, budding chemistry — as two actors.
"It’s like, ‘Oh, this is nice. Let’s not mold this. Let’s just let it breathe.' And that’s what we did."
While the pair have reportedly been getting on like a house on fire, they still had an intimacy coordinator while filming The Naked Gun.
In one steamy bedroom scene, Anderson and Neeson's assigned coordinator actually had to step away. Apparently, one scene became 'too hot' for her and she left the room to go for coffee.
The coordinator was also on hand for when Neeson and Anderson shot a threesome.
Neeson recently starred on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert were he was asked about his first time using an intimacy coordinator.
"[It was] a little bit strange," he Hollywood veteran admitted. Laughing, Neeson added: "Pamela and I knew what to do."
It was 'a first' for him having a third person involved though.
"That had to be specifically choreographed," Neeson said of the threesome in question.
PEOPLE have reported that the two co-stars are in fact dating one another.
"It's a budding romance in the early stages. It's sincere, and it's clear they're smitten with each other," a source alleged to the outlet.
They added that Anderson, 58, and Neeson, 73, are 'enjoying each other's company'.
The rumors of them possibly being more than co-stars started months ago when Neeson admitted that he was 'madly in love' with Anderson.
"With Pamela, first off, I'm madly in love with her. She's just terrific to work with," he told PEOPLE back in October.
"I can't compliment her enough, I'll be honest with you," Neeson continued to gush. "No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She's funny and so easy to work with. She's going to be terrific in the film."
