Jack Osbourne, the son of the late Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne, has shut down 'ridiculous' rumors that emerged following his dad's death.
Osbourne passed away on July 22 at the age of 76, after suffering a heart attack while at his family's estate in England.
His children, including Kelly, Jack and Aimee, who he shared with wife Sharon, were all in attendance at his funeral on July 30, but the family has otherwise largely stayed out of the spotlight as they mourn the loss of their big personality father and husband.
However, Jack, who is 39 years old, has now shared some insights into his father's passing and his feelings around the loss in a new YouTube video, titled 'A personal note before moving forward on the loss of my father'.

In the video, Jack explains how he was in Los Angeles when his dad died, and received the news from a family acquaintance who knocked on his door at around 3.45am in the morning.
"No one expected it to happen as quickly as it did and and when it did, it was not anything that was on our radar," Jack said.
With that in mind he dispelled bizarre rumors that had emerged surrounding Osbourne's final days, including a claim that the singer had planned to travel to Switzerland to 'euthanize himself'.

"I know leading up to it there was all sorts of stuff going around about my dad going to Switzerland and [he] was going to euthanize himself and this was all planned... it was not. Absolutely not," Jack said.

"That is categorically untrue and ridiculous," he continued, before going on to share some of the plans that Osbourne had been hoping to carry out prior to his death.
"My dad was so happy that he did the [farewell] show and he was happy to kind of move into this next phase of his life.

"He wanted to spend more time in England. He wanted to spend more time with my kids. He wanted to spend more time with just exploring different things as much as he could."
Jack had been in the UK with his father when he performed his farewell show with Black Sabbath in Aston, and he said his dad was 'in an amazing mood' in the days afterwards.
He returned to LA about a week later, but flew straight back to England after hearing of his dad's death.
