As 2025 came to a close, Megyn Kelly reflected on her career - and she didn’t hold back when asked about the celebrities she’s clashed with along the way.
The 55-year-old journalist was asked to name the 'meanest' or most 'unpleasant' famous people she’s encountered, and there were four people that came to mind.
Jane Fonda was the first person she mentioned to the Daily Mail, revisiting their tense 2017 interview, as Kelly recalls the Oscar-winning actress, now 88, reacted angrily when questioned about her past plastic surgery.
She defended herself by explaining that the topic was raised deliberately, after producers had asked her to avoid discussing sex scenes from Our Souls at Night, as Fonda’s co-star Robert Redford was reportedly uncomfortable with talking about it.

The former Fox News anchor also shared a negative experience with Bruce Willis, though she acknowledged it might sound distasteful given the actor’s ongoing health struggles.
In 2022, Willis was diagnosed with Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) after revealing he had aphasia, a condition affecting speech and language.
Recalling a 2006 interview, Kelly described the Die Hard star as 'ungiving' and 'ungenerous', saying he appeared visibly unhappy during the appearance.

"Why agree to come on if you don’t want to be there?" she added.
Another celebrity Kelly referenced was Today show personality Al Roker, although unlike the rest she declined to go into detail about their alleged issue.
Instead, she offered an indirect comparison, joking that if her mother ever encountered Roker, the interaction would resemble 'Larry David bumping into Alan Dershowitz at Martha’s Vineyard'.
Finally, rounding out the list was Ellen DeGeneres. Kelly cited the experience of a 'close family member' who worked behind the scenes on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
According to Kelly, staff were allegedly warned not to make eye contact with the host.
“They were told to look down at the floor, like a serf,” she claimed, adding that she wasn’t surprised when workplace bullying allegations later surfaced against DeGeneres in 2020.
"She is a bad person," Kelly said.

While Kelly has been outspoken about others’ behaviour, she herself has recently come under fire. In November, comments she made about convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein sparked backlash online.
Speaking on her show, The Megyn Kelly Show, in November, she said: "I know somebody very close to this case to the point where they know virtually everything. Jeffrey Epstein, in this person's view, was not a pedophile…He was into the barely legal type, like he liked 15 year old girls."
The age of consent in the US ranges from 16-18 depending on the state.
Kelly continued: "I realize this is disgusting and I'm not trying to make an excuse for this; I'm giving you facts. He wasn't into eight year olds, he liked very young teen types that would look legal to the passerby. There's a difference between a 15 year old and a five year old."
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the comments have not gone down well online, with many on Reddit left shocked by Kelly's comments.
"Oh man, are these the f****** talking points? Because this is f****** disgusting," one person asked, while a second stated the conservative should be 'ashamed' by her comments.
UNILAD has reached out to Kelly's representatives for comment, as well as Fonda, Willis and Roker's.
