Meghan Trainor has responded to comments about her weight loss after receiving a lot of flak online.
Celebrities often have to deal with people online commenting about them or their work and it very much comes with the territory.
But things can often take a nasty turn when ‘fans’ start ridiculing or insulting a person because of their appearance.
Singer Meghan Trainor has now spoken out and noted that a lot of the criticisms she has been getting recently have been considerably hurtful.

It comes after the 31-year-old, who shot to fame with her 2014 hit 'All About That Bass', admitted that she has lost 60 pounds after taking GLP-1 drug Mounjaro.
Earlier this year, Trainor announced on Instagram: “I’ve worked with a dietician, made huge lifestyle changes, started exercising with a trainer, and yes, I used science and support (shoutout to Mounjaro!) to help me after my 2nd pregnancy, and I’m so glad I did because I feel great.”

However, speaking to Extra, earlier this week, Trainor said: “Like, all my comments were just evil, attacking me.
“I started posting pictures of myself recently, just like I always did.
“But for some reason a flame went off, and everyone got mad. Just like, ‘Ew, I don't recognize you, you're just a walking nose.’ Just crazy stuff, like mean.”
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the star reflected on the trolls' comments as she said: “The world's getting crazier and meaner and they're louder, and I'm like: 'Is it 'cause they're getting louder or is it 'cause I'm getting worse?' And I'm not.
“I'm literally for the first time ever, after having babies, taking care of my health to the highest level, and I've never felt better, and I look incredible, I feel great and that's when people attack me? I was like: 'What?'”
Trainor also noted that despite the comments, she 'feels great' and is at her 'healthiest'.

She admitted that she wanted to get healthier after having her two children and has been doing so with her husband, child actor Daryl Sabara.
Trainor added: “I had to learn what food was healthy for me and what was good for my digestion. I thought I was eating healthy for a while, and I learned that I had leaky gut and IBS and all these symptoms.
“I was like, 'This is exhausting. I was physically fit, but I can't gain muscle what's going on?'”
The singer went on to admit that the negative comments did impact her and brought her to tears, resulting in her speaking to her therapist about it.
“I cried so much. They got to me, and my therapist was like, ‘You give them too much power. I wish I didn't.’ So, I'm trying to learn at 31 not to give strangers power. It feels silly,” she said.
Trainor added to Entertainment Tonight: “I'm taking care of myself. I have to find a way to not be affected by that.”
