Man's Arnold Schwarzenegger impression during hilarious prank call is being called the best ever

A lot of people think they can do a good Arnold Schwarzenegger impression, but this guy definitely does it best.

Voice actor Joe Gaudet featured on the The Pop Up with Paul podcast, where host Paul Costabile invites people for an unfiltered interview.

On the podcast, Costabile pretended to be Schwarzenegger's assistant and book a table at 'the fanciest restaurant in Hollywood' for The Terminator actor, before passing the phone onto Gaudet pretending to be him.

"This is Arnold," he says in an Austrian accent.

"I will be in the area around 8 o'clock and looking to see if we can get a table for three.

"If you can have any wiggle room, then it would be absolutely fantastic."

In light of how good Gaudet's impression is, the woman on the other end of the phone doesn't question if it's genuinely the 76-year-old actor and proceeds to book a table for whom she believes to be Schwarzenegger.

Gaudet is then asked if he wants the booking under the name Schwarzenegger, but he asks for a pseudonym instead.

"I think we should use Ari Schwartz," Gaudet requests.

"I mean, they wouldn't know."

Ending the call, Gaudet and Costabile both burst into fits of laughter - and people on TikTok found it just as amusing.

But aside from finding it funny, dozens were quick to comment on how brilliant Gaudet's impersonation of Schwarzenegger was.

"Best Arnold impression, hands down, no other comes close," raved one person.

"He sounds more like Arnold than Arnold does," joked another, as a third added: "This guys impression of Arnold is spot on!"

"This is the best Arnold impression ever," echoed another, while others hailed the impression as being 'solid'.

Schwarzenegger is known for his strong Austrian accent - despite being a US citizen for four decades.

The actor celebrated 40 years as an American in September, and penned a moving tribute on Instagram.

“On this day 40 years ago, I became an American citizen. It is one of the proudest days of my life. I owe everything to America. Born in Austria, made in America," he wrote.

Schwarzenegger shared a montage of photographs which included a snap of him with Sylvester Stallone, and several others documenting his life before and after moving to the States.

Schwarzenegger originally hails from the village of Thal, where he was born in 1947.
