Kevin Spacey set to face sexual assault claims from 3 different men just days after sharing ‘homeless’ admission

Kevin Spacey will be returning to court in 2026 to face civil claims from three different men, who allege he sexually assaulted them.

The men have sued the Oscar-winning actor, 66, over claims that he assaulted them between 2000 and 2015.

The case is due to be heard at the High Court in London next October over three weeks.

Spacey is widely reported to have denied any wrongdoing and has already formally denied two of the cases but has yet to file a defense for the third.

One of Spacey’s accusers is Ruari Cannon, who has waived his right to anonymity.

Having previously appeared in the documentary Spacey Unmasked, Cannon claimed he was groped by the actor at an afterparty at London’s Old Vic theatre back in 2013.

Spacey has always strenuously denied the allegation and dismissed the claims as ‘ridiculous’ while also saying ‘it never happened.’

Another accuser, identified only as LNP, alleges that Spacey 'deliberately assaulted' him about a dozen times between 2000 and 2005.

A third man, known in court documents as GHI, also claims to have been assaulted in 2008 at the Old Vic, where Spacey served as the artistic director for 11 years until stepping down in 2015.

Representing Spacey, William McCormick KC said the case involving the man called LNP should be heard separately.

In written submissions, he told the High Court: “On a rational basis, the only common feature is Kevin Spacey. The fact that he met, or in the case of Cannon, is said to have met, each claimant in the context of his work at the Old Vic takes matters no further.

“The circumstances of the alleged assaults are markedly different and occur many years apart.”

The latest raft of allegations will come as a hefty blow to the American Beauty actor, as he attempts to stage a comeback to his former life of fame after being acquitted of nine sexual offences back in 2023.

“I imagine that many of you can understand that there is a lot for me to process after what has happened today but I would like to say that I’m enormously grateful to the jury for having taken the time to examine all of the evidence and all of the facts carefully before they reached their decision and I am humbled by the outcome today,” he said in a statement read outside the court at the time.

Earlier this month, Spacey attempted to stage a comeback in Cyprus where he performed for one night at the Parklane Luxury Collection Resort, after revealing he was ‘homeless’.

He told The Telegraph: “The costs over these last seven years have been astronomical. I've had very little coming in and everything going out.”

“You get through it. In weird ways, I feel I'm back to where I first started, which is I just went where the work was. Everything is in storage, and I hope at some point, if things continue to improve, that I'll be able to decide where I want to settle down again.

“I'm living in hotels, I'm living in Airbnbs, I'm going where the work is. I literally have no home, that's what I'm attempting to explain.”

Following an outpouring of support from fans, including offers of a place to stay, Spacey later backtracked on his claim and clarified that he did still have a roof over his head.

In an Instagram video shared on Sunday (November 23), Spacey said: "Thousands of people have reached out over the past few days offering me a place to stay or have just asked if I’m okay. And to all of you, I am truly touched by your generosity full stop."

He went on: "I feel it would be disingenuous to allow you to believe I am indeed homeless in the colloquial sense.

"I said I was basically living in hotels and Airbnbs and going where the work is, just as I did when I first started out in this business.

"I’ve been working nearly nonstop this entire year and, for that, I have so much to be grateful for."

Spacey continued to say that his heart goes out to those who are actually 'living on the streets or in their cars'.
