Kendall Jenner has opened up about her relationship with her dad, Caitlyn Jenner, after the former Olympian appeared on The Kardashians Hulu TV series for the first time.
While Caitlyn previously appeared in the family's old reality TV show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, she made her first appearance on the new iteration of the series in the latest episode, which aired on October 30.
During the airing, Kendall, who is 29 years old, was seen chatting with her dad about the wildfires that tore through Los Angeles earlier this year, destroying homes and prompting mass evacuations.
Dozens of celebrities have previously spoken about losing their homes and possessions to the blazes, as well as helping to raise awareness for the fires, but Caitlyn insisted during the Kardashians episode that her home in Malibu was safe.

Instead of evacuating, the 76-year-old claimed she had plans to sit outside of her house with a hose to tackle the flames.
Discussing her relationship with her dad, Kendall said in a confessional: "I have to compartmentalize my relationship with my Dad in a way because I love her. She’s my dad. We have a good relationship. But sometimes I get frustrated with her with certain things because we just have completely different views on things.”
Caitlyn has been a controversial public figure for a number of years, in part because of her decision to support a ban on transgender women competing on women's sports teams. Caitlyn herself came out as a trans woman in 2015, but spoke of the sporting debate to a reporter in 2021, saying: "It just isn't fair. And we have to protect girls' sports in our schools."

While Kendall admitted in the series that she and Caitlyn have their differences, she made clear that she 'always wants to include' her dad in her life.

“I know she doesn’t have a lot outside of her family and I think that she gets lonely," she said. "You don’t ever want someone to be sad, especially your dad and someone you love and care about.”
Caitlyn's appearance in the series came as her ex, Kris, invited her to join the family for a dinner at their home in Hidden Hills before they left it behind. The house was the main property featured in Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and Kris said it 'wouldn't be the same' to say goodbye without Caitlyn.

Kris told the family: "Your Dad and I bought this house many years ago, and I think one person isn’t here that should be here to say goodbye with us to this house."
Caitlyn then surprised the group by walking in.
