Fans have been left stunned after spotting a NSFW detail in Justin Bieber's Instagram story.

The Canadian pop icon hasn't released or even teased any new music in four years, having taken an apparent hiatus from the industry.

Bieber shot to fame as a youngster and became a teen idol virtually overnight when his debut 2010 album, 'My World 2.0', topped the US Billboard 200. He was the youngest solo male to do so in almost 50 years.

But the 'Baby' hitmaker revealed to fans in June 2022 that he has Ramsay Hunt syndrome, a neurological condition that causes facial paralysis, hearing loss, dizziness, vocal strain and vertigo, amongst a raft of other tough symptoms.

His health struggles forced him to cancel most of his 2022 Justice World Tour and postpone other performances during his recovery, making his 'health a priority'.

Bieber has only performed three times since, first at a surprise performance at an NHL All-Star party in Toronto, then in a sudden Coachella appearance and finally at a wedding party.

Now a father-of-one with wife, Hailey Bieber, the rumour mill is swirling that the superstar could be making a hotly-anticipated return to music this year.

Fans are in a frenzy over the possibility after Bieber shared not one but two rather revealing snaps of himself on his Instagram story.

Sporting only a pair white Calvin Klein boxers that seem to be see through, the pics showed him resting on a wooden almost-throne-like chair while basking in the winter sun while snow hugged the ground.

Fans have since buzzed that the 'thirst trap' is a sign that he is 'really back'.

Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: "Justin just posted these pictures on his IG stories and I'm f***ing not okay."

Another penned: "Justin Bieber posting photos in underwear... We are so back."

"Justin Bieber is back in his thirst trap era", a third chimed, "WE WON".

While there is no official confirmation about when or even if the 'Sorry' singer will be making his comeback, sources allege Bieber can no longer maintain his lavish lifestyle without any more income.

The star sold his life work's catalog of songs to Hipgnosis Songs Capital for a reported $200 million in January 2023, meaning he no longer receives royalties on any of the tracks he released or had interest in before December 31, 2021, according to The Daily Mail.

At the same time, Bieber also reportedly faced an eye-watering tax bill of $380,000 for his $16.6 million California estate, reports the Economic Times.

In October last year, TMZ also claimed Bieber was 'very upset' with how his team managed his fortune and was allegedly considering suing his former managers after losing a 'ton of money as a result of terrible decisions by business managers'.

Matthew Belloni also dropped a bombshell in his latest What I’m Hearing newsletter, teasing that Bieber 'goes back to work' in his Hollywood predictions for 2025.

The reporter added: "I’m told Bieber needs the money and wants to work."

That, and earlier this week, Bieber himself appeared to share a video on his Instagram story of a possible new song - accompanied by two mysterious emojis of a film projector and of a pen writing.
