Jill Zarin has been fired from the upcoming series The Golden Life following her comments about Bad Bunny's Super Bowl show.
It was recently confirmed that E! News would be going ahead with the Real Housewives of New York reunion series, but Zarin will now not be part of the project.
Blink49 Studios told Variety of its decision to axe her: "In light of recent public comments made by Jill Zarin, Blink49 Studios has decided not to move forward with her involvement in The Golden Life. We remain committed to delivering the series in line with our company standards and values."
The move comes after Zarin made some unsavoury comments about Bad Bunny in a now-deleted video shared to Instagram on during the Super Bowl.

"I just don’t think it was appropriate to have it in Spanish," the reality TV star said of his performance.
She went on to say that it was 'totally inappropriate' that the Puerto Rican singer was supposedly 'grabbing his [groin] area' in light of the young audiences watching and also questioned if he was 'insecure'.
"You’ve got all these young kids watching the Super Bowl, and he doesn’t have to be grabbing himself every five seconds because he’s so insecure. Seriously," Zarin fumed.
She continued to say (as per Us Weekly): "I don’t speak Spanish. I would’ve liked to have known the words he was saying. To me, it looked like a political statement because there were literally no white people in the entire thing."
In light of being dropped from The Golden Life for her remarks, Zarin has spoken out and alluded that what she said was wrong.
"They didn’t even give me a chance," Zarin told In Touch of her firing, adding: "I took [the video] down right away. People make mistakes. I’m human."

While Zarin will not be part of the show, Luann de Lesseps, Jill Zarin, Ramona Singer, Kelly Bensimon, and Sonja Morgan will be, said E! News.
The synopsis for The Golden Life reads: "Bound by decades of shared history, fallouts and friendship, this fan-favorite group of New Yorkers are starting fresh together in the Sunshine State.
"In this new 'golden' era of life, the longtime friends are thriving in and around Palm Beach with fabulous second homes and a bustling social scene. With their signature humor and non-stop hijinks, the series will follow the group as they navigate dating, family, and career milestones."
It's expected that the new show will air later this year.
