Jennifer Lawrence’s five-word confession on filming intimate scenes in the nude has fans hailing her as a ‘breath of fresh air’.
The 35-year-old, who rose to prominence as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games trilogy, is an Academy Award winner, a mother of two, and a documentary producer.
In her latest movie role, Die My Love, J-Law plays Grace, a young, post-partum woman who moves from New York City to her partner Jackson’s (played by Robert Pattinson) rural childhood home, in search of some peace and quiet.

However, Grace suffers from feelings of isolation and psychological distress, which throws her relationship and young family into disarray.
The flick, directed by Lynne Ramsay and produced by Martin Scorsese, is based on the 2012 novel of the same name, and features Lawrence dancing in the nude with Pattinson, 39.
In a press junket for the film, the X-Men icon admitted that she felt completely different about filming the naked scenes for Die My Love compared to the 2023 comedy, No Hard Feelings.
"I don't care about nudity,” the actress said in a now-viral TikTok video, uploaded to the platform by Vulture. “I'm not sensitive about it.

"I wanted Lynne to have total freedom artistically."
Lawrence continued: "I think being pregnant took a lot of, like, vanity anxiety away. Before No Hard Feelings, I was dieting and not eating carbs and working out."
"Things were different when filming Die My Love," she explained, as she was pregnant with her and husband, 41-year-old Cooke Maroney’s second child.

"What was I gonna do? Like, not eat? I was working 15 hours a day. I was just tired."
"I remember them sending over a close-up of, like, cellulite being like, 'Do you want us to touch this up?'" she recalled. "And I was like, "No. That's an ass'."
Fans have come out in droves to champion the Hollywood star for being so candid, with one X user typing: “Watching everyone on the TL remember how incredible Jennifer Lawrence is.”
“She is always a breath of fresh air,” said someone else.

A third commented: “Queen Behavior.”

In an interview with PEOPLE on the red carpet, the Don’t Look Up favorite claimed she was able to draw from her own life and experiences while taking on the role of new-mom Grace in Die My Love.
“I didn't really end up having really bad postpartum [anxiety] until my second [baby],” she confessed on November 1.

Lawrence, who welcomed three-year-old Cy’s little brother in early 2025, said that her own mental health added ‘another layer’ whilst portraying the character.
”I mean, I don't think that you have to have kids to play a parent by any means, but having that information about, you know, what a tiny person needs, and is looking for.
"Just having that information was helpful."

Speaking with The New Yorker, the Golden Globe winner claimed she was planning on going under the knife after giving birth to her second child.
When asked why she was considering a boob job, she explained: “Everything bounced back, pretty much, after the first one. Second one, nothing bounced back.”
Lawrence added that she probably ‘wouldn’t be hustling to the appointment in the same way’ if she didn’t have potential further nude scenes to film.
However, she added that she’d likely still want the operation, even if she wasn’t in the celebrity spotlight.
