Hugh Hefner’s widow Crystal Hefner has opened up about her sex life with the Playboy mogul and some issues she encountered.
While Hugh Hefner built up a reputation of having a glamorous and enviable lifestyle living in the Playboy Mansion, his former wife has said that was far from the truth.
Crystal Hefner met Hugh when she was 21 and the mogul was 60 years old. The pair would go on to get married at the end of 2012 and remained married till Hugh’s death at the age of 91 in 2017, following a heart attack, with respiratory failure, septicemia and E. coli also listed on his death certificate.
After her husband’s death, Crystal wrote a memoir that gave up intimate details about their relationship, saying she felt 'imprisoned' in the Playboy Mansion.

Many of her points have been supported by former girlfriend’s of Hugh as well as other Playboy Playmates.
In her book, Crystal had a pretty damning evaluation of Hefner’s prowess in the bedroom.

She described the Playboy mogul of as 'less sex-savvy than some of the teenage boys I'd been with years ago'. She added that intimacy with him was ‘odd and robotic’.

She also said that when it came to get down to it she would play the same Madonna track so that ‘no other music [would] be contaminated’ for her.
Beyond this, she also added that there the mansion itself was disgusting and not nearly as glamorous as it was conveyed in pop culture.
Crystal alleged that the mansion was a state and said: “Everything was moldy and dusty and it was just hoarder central in the mansion.”
Former girlfriend of Hefner, Holly Madison, has also complained the intimacy aspect with Hefner when the pair were together.

Speaking on an episode of the In Your Dreams podcast in May, she said that she ‘hated’ having group sex Hefner and other people.

She said: “It’s a very different story between when we were just by ourselves than with everybody else in the room.
“Everybody else in the room, no. That was disgusting. I hated it. I made it very known I hated it.”

In Madison's own memoir she also claimed that Hefner was ‘controlling’ through their relationship and she was ultimately ‘miserable’.
Madison said that she noticed the other girlfriends were seemingly going through a 'similar experience' to her, as she could 'tell something was a little wrong, even though they were trying to have a great experience'.
